I went with a friend to spend two weeks in Faliraki for the nightlife. The Achousa was about a twenty minute walk from Bar Street and Club Street, and half an hour from the beach, so you avoid all the noise at night.
The nightlife was great and we signed up for all the bar crawls etc. with the reps. We went will Olympic Holidays and they really do look after you.
So about the hotel: the pool bar offers great value for money, tasty food and the staff there are very friendly. The drinks were also reasonably priced. My only complaint about our whole stay would be the fact the cleaners were utterly useless. They came everyday to change the bins and that was all. Me and my friend had to put our bed sheets and towels on the floor when we wanted fresh because after the first four days, nothing had been changed! But apart from that the hotel was great and exactly what we were looking for.
Overall we had a great time, and I would recommend La Strada as the place to eat out - cheap and great food. I would also recommend George's Bar at the end of Club Street as it was the cheapest and the staff there were very friendly!

My family and I arrived at 3 am (greek time), for three weeks holiday and we were met in the usual friendly Greek way. The hotel was set in off the road and very private which renedered it quiet, although within 20 minutes walking distance from Faliraki centre. Our room was small, but sufficient for the three of us. The bathroom was cleaned every day and the beds and towels changed every week.We had a large balcony overlooking trees and in the morning you could sit out and watch the sun rise. The taverna at the pool served fantactic souvlaki and other food to match everyones taste. Compared to other hotels in Faliraki, the pool was huge and was cleaned every evening. The greek people were just fantastic and so friendly. I would be happy to stay at this hotel anytime. Special thanks to Angelos, Maria and everyone else at the Achousa for making my return to Greece after so many years so welcoming. Well done Achousa!! Yasoo!!

we were original booked in the carina , which is awful, so the achousa was a massive improvement and the staff were all polite and friendly and charlie the barmen is a legend .

the rooms are basic but clean and the air conditioning is very reasonable and believe me you will need it.
The achousa is situated just outside falaraki town so you dont gety many druken revellers walking by.

the pool is wonderful and very clean and the food and drink is very reaonably priced.

i would deffinetly go again and would like the thank the achousa for saving our holiday.

I am absolutely amazed at these bad reviews of the Achousa... All I can imagine is that these people have never stayed in Rhodes before and have nothing to compare it to! Modernisation?! It's Greece, not Dubai! Greek is known for its standard and basic accomodation..you get what you pay for!

A group of 5 of us ranging from 16 - 24 years old went in June and loved it that much we went home, saved and went back for another 2 weeks in September!! Although I always said I would never become one of those people who continues to go to the same place every year, we will also be back peak season this year in August!

The staff at the Achousa are extremely helpful and friendly...when we returned in September there were 2 other parties who had also returned from earlier in the season, this speaks volumes.

Ive lived and worked in several countries, yet have never met such friendly people as the Greeks.

At the Achousa theyve a 24hr reception manned by the extremely humourous and friendly Angelos and the bar staff work right through until the last one standing at the bar falls asleep..what service! You would not see people working 24hr shifts here in the UK just to ensure you were enjoying yourself!

The Achousa is a fantastic, cosy, value for money, typical greek hotel....enjoy...
