“Lovely budget holiday, very quiet...”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed January 28, 2013

Basic, clean rooms. Air con available at an additional charge.
Pool area clean and tidy, very peaceful - Lady who ran cafe was playing some music all day but its quiet and doesn't interfere with reading, relaxing etc. She makes lovely sandwiches too!
Our rooms were tended to often but we never saw anyone, they seemed to time it whilst we were out.

Supermarket just over the road and a cracking bakery - lovely bloke runs it and we had breakfast from there nearly every day!

About 20 mins to walk to beach/restaurants etc. Fantastic selection of food and nice tavernas to chill out in.

Fully recommend exploring, we went to the other island, we tried the cable cars and went to Ioa for the sunset - (It's just a sunset - but it is pretty and there are some good shops, so go up for the day rather than just for the sunset).

For a 2* status we were impressed with the service received at Andreas. The rooms are large with a big balcony area, and we even had a double bed (not 2 singles pushed together!) The apartments are kept v clean every day and the pool area is lovely and chilled. The location is good as it is near the big supermarket although it's quite a walk to the beach in the heat! Overall impressed with the accomodation and would stay again if returning to Perissa.

3 of 5 stars Reviewed October 1, 2012

Just returned from a 2 week break on Santorini staying at the Andreas studios Perissa.
We flew out on Small (Legroom) Planet Airlines on an aircraft that I think was last used in the Berlin airlift.Still,at least the invention of gaffer tape came in handy.Oh, how I wish I could understand the pilot and crew!
Anyway,we arrived at our accommodation @ about midnight and went out to look for a drink and a bite to eat before going to bed.As many reviewers have said there is an all night bakery across the road and a large reasonably priced "Supermarket".
On waking we were able to see the apartment and for the price we paid ( 2 weeks pool view £720 from Olympic holidays on line) it seemed pretty good.Very clean large room with a double and single bed, kitchenette with fridge and crockery/cutlery for 3 and a simple 2 ring counter top hob.Bathroom- a toilet ,shower and wash hand basin. The apartments could do with a general refurb but,all in all not bad for a 2*.Safe deposit very reasonable at 10E for the 2 weeks.
The pool looked clean and was well dosed with Chlorine, turning green one night due to an overdose of Chlorine or my overdose of Ouzo!Well,it looked green!!Sun loungers and fixed brollies, tables and chairs around a spacious pool area. There is a bar and food area and having read some of the other reviews was looking forward to using it for snacks and drink e.t.c.Those that used to run it and were rated highly have not been back this year (cost cutting due to the Greek economy) so only saw it open once(Olympic rep due) shame really, food and drink looked cheap.
Overall not bad, room cleaned each day with "new" towels and bedsheets changed once a week.Bed looked like it would collapse as did our neighbours at 1am one morning!
This hotel is on the main road and as with all countries you have potential F1 drivers and Motorcycle champions plus the mobile discos but,you get what you pay for.
On another note, please think before booking trips with your rep.We payed 38E each for a volcano trip and had a couple on our coach, boat and the same guide,in fact all was the same and they paid 17E each.

Room Tip: Pool view top floor are the best.

Andreas Studios is Awesome! We has such a great holiday and would come back in heartbeat! The rooms are basic but spotlessly clean, freshly painted white, with nice decor. They bring you fresh towels every day and clean your room, our balcony overlooked the pool and the back verandah had a view of the stunning Perissa mountain range. Location was great. On the edge of Perissa town, next to supermarket, bars, restaurants etc. The pool was nice and the beach is 8 minutes walk through the beachside restaurants and bars. Little touches included lovely photography framed on the walls.

We also recommend the amazing food and friendly vibes of Atlas Restaurant, about a block from the hotel. It became our local!

My boyfriend and I wanted a relaxing holiday somewhere hot, but not tacky, with beautiful places to visit and more to do than just go to the beach. Andreas Studios was perfect for this.
Perissa itself is a great place to stay as the beach is gorgeous, the restaurants and bars are lovely (and not tacky) and it has a lovely relaxed vibe. Its a great base to explore the stunning, gorgeous amazing island of Santorini - we hired a quad bike and it got us to beautiful Oia for the sunset, to the top of the big mountain and meant we were able to find lots of secluded beaches and sunset viewspots. For those days we wanted to relax on the beach it was right there, just a few minutes away!

We loved this place, it's by no means 5* or honeymoon material, but for a chilled beach holiday in a stunning spot, it's utterly perfect!

Room Tip: top level overlooking the pool!

We stayed at the hotel for one week, we booked through Thomas cook and Olympic 2 weeks before we went on the holiday. We paid £380 for the whole holiday.

Our room was very good for the money we paid! Our room was big for the two of us and we had plenty of space, we had a 'garden view' room which meant we had a balcony with double doors overlooking the hotel pool which was nice =) We had a small kitchen with 2 cooker rings, fridge with freezer inside, sink, kettle and some equipment (which I wasn't keen to use and was glad I took our camping cutlery and plates!) With the big Coop over the road we were able to save some money and make food in our room some days.

Location of the hotel is good, there are restaurants, bus stops, shops, things to see and the most amazing 24hr bakery all within walking distance. The only downside to the location is that it is on the main road and this comes with traffic! Lots of motorbikes, quadbikes, cars and coaches but this didn't bother us that much... but if something like this would ruin your holiday I would recommend finding a hotel nearer the beach in Perissa away from the main road! It wasn't always loud, just now and again!

We found our room was very clean and was cleaned thoroughly everyday, we had our sheets and towels replaced everyday also. This was excellent. When I had any questions or requests such as a plug for the kitchen sink they were friendly and helpful finding me a plug by the next morning.

I had trouble with the shower and toilet but after telling our fantastic Olympic rep about it... I soon realised that that is common for hotels in Greece! There was little water pressure and the water was salty - the toilet seat was also too big for the toilet but this was true of many toilets I visited in Greece. It stressed me out as you often slid when you sat down and the lid would close on you! I didn't let it ruin my holiday and found ways around it! We had a laugh about our dribbly shower and crocodile toilet that tries to eat you! But I can see for others how it could be more of a problem.

The pool was refreshing and really nice to relax around. Also, the pool bar chips were nice but we only had chips from it once as we were very much enjoying the food from the 24hr bakery over the road!

Overall it was a good hotel for the money we paid =D for a young couple buying a cheaper last minute holiday we were pleased with the hotel. We did have a look at other hotels around and if we went back we would probably try and stay down by the beach, or if we came into lots of money somehow!! haha (student!) We would stay at one of the bigger posh hotels with lights up the drive and a bath to soak in after a day of walking and adventuring in the sun!

We've just returned from a week here, and would happily go back.
Spotlessly clean, ideal location (close to cracking bakery and supermarket), 10 minute walk to the beach and Tranquillo, nice pool area too!
We were overlooking the pool and didn't notice the road noise at all.

I stayed a week at this hotell on an unspecified charter-tour. I was positively suprised by the nice pool area and the friendly staff. I lived in the "older" part of the hotel, but compared to the price I payed, I did not expect more. Close to bakery, supermarket, farmacy, post-office, ATV/scooter rent and not far from the beach. Will absolutely recommend the place!
