absolutely precious place . clean neat rooms, beautiful views, delicious pool, off the beach, and the staff is amazingly sweet; they helped us out with routes and helped us get some discounts;) being that we were on a tight budget.
a must stay!!

I would highly recommend this hotel. The value for money, cleanliness and friendly vibe is just what was needed and I could not have asked for more. It's perfect for young people on a budget that want to be close to the beach, nightlife and sun-bathe by a lovely clean water pool.

It really feels as though you are staying with family/friends rather than at a hotel.

I could not recommend this highly enough - A must stay resort!

Stelios Place is an oasis on Santorini. The friendly owners make you feel like guests at a large home instead of customers at a hotel. The property is kept immaculate, and the rooms are clean and comfortable. Also, the rates are more than fair.

I would HIGHLY recommend other visitors to Santorini--especially young people--consider this "place."

What a great spot! Just up from the beach, this hotel has nice clean rooms, good size balconies, a fresh water pool, free use of the computers and Stelio himself will pick you up and drop you off at the port or airport. They only had a triple room available for us( a double and single bed) but there was ample room for the cot that they bought in for us as well. The area was perfect for myself, husband and two boys (10&12). Lots of places to eat in the immediate area as well as bakeries and grocery stores to stock up your fridge with beverages and snacks.

First of all, my ferry didn't arrive in santorini until midnight and stelio still picked me up from the port to take me to the hotel.
The hotel is beautiful and has a lovely pool area. It is located just steps away from perissa beach (also known as the black beach). It is about a 20 minutes bus ride to the town of Thira and about an hour and a half from Oia. The buses, however, only come once an hour so I would suggest maybe renting atv's/car to get around the island so that you don't waste time waiting for the bus. If you want to go to the red beach, you have to take two buses and that ended up being very time consuming.

Stelios will pick you up from the port as well as take you back when you leave.
Overall, I had a great stay at Stelios. If you are looking to stay by the beach, this is the place to stay. However, if you are more interested in being in a town with lots of shops and restaurants, look into staying in Thira/Fira or Oia.

This is the perfect place to stay if you're looking to be near the beach and also have the convenience of lots of restaurants and shops nearby. The hotel itself is very cute and the staff is extremely friendly and helpful. The rooms are very basic, but all we were looking for was a clean place to stay that was near the beach. If you're the type of traveler who enjoys spending time in your room, this is not the place for you (especially since our room had no balcony, just a door to a closed in courtyard with no view). If you just want a clean hotel with great service and a fantastic location only 30 steps from the black sand beach, then there's no other place to stay then here! The bus stop is literally on the corner and it only costs 2 euros to take the bus to Fira.

A couple things to note...

They only accept cash for payment. We did not know this in advance and were thankful that between the two of us we could come up with enough cash upon check out, as we needed to quickly head out to the port.

They offer FREE pick up from the airport or port and will drop you off when you depart as well. This was a huge convenience and saved us the headache of looking for transportation upon arrival.

They allow you to use their computers for FREE.

Stelio's Place is located in Perissa Beach in Santorini, Greece.
I flew to Santorini from Athens. I decided to stay 2 nights in Perissa Beach. I was picked up at the airport on time.

It's a great feeling to smell fresh air and see hills and the gorgeous sea by the cliffs. The ride to Perissa is a short 20min drive from airport. I loved the scenery and we go to our destination quickly. Once we checked in, I was escorted to my room.

It was a double bedroom for two. It had two twin individual beds (extremely comfortable), a wardrove to store your stuff, TV, small fridge, a small table, two light stands and the bathroom. There's an A/C in the room but I didn't use it. There's plenty of air from the windows and side doors to the small balcony. I was lucky to have a gorgeous balcony in the room. It has a beautiful view of the beach. This is by far the best part of the room. The weather was just perfect when I visited. It was warm and pleasant during the day and mild in the evening. Definitely bring a sweater.

The bathroom is the weakest point in this room. The shower is very small with curtain. There's no divider between shower and toilet so the water will go on the floor. You'll get use to it and it meets the necessary needs. There's a small window in the bathroom for ventilation :)

The room was clean, the beds done every day. It was a fantastic hotel. I for once regret not spending enough time in the hotel because it is very pleasant. There's a medium size pool that looked clean all the time. There are sun beds around, plenty of shade and few palm trees in the pool area.

The reception area has FREE internet. There are two computers that you can use in the reception/bar area. But if you have your own labtop, ask for the password to get access to the wifi. Food is available for purchase if you get hungry, check the menu and they'll cook it right up.

The staff is very attentive and very very helpful. When a little transportation problem came up regarding the other hotel I was going to in Fira, the staff in Stelio's helped me get in touch with the hotel with no complaints. They were such life savers.

The Hotel is by the beach. It's literary 30 steps away at most. You can't miss it. There are a lot of restaurants and some souvenier shops to chose from. There are sunbeds but you usually have to be a customer of the restaurant in order to use them. Otherwise, place your own towel on an empty space on the sand (you can't take the towels from the hotel out of the room) and enjoy!

When I visited Perissa Beach, the weather was pleasant but not warm to jump straight to the water. I didn't go in because I was cold. There's plenty of sun though. The beach is something you need to get use to. It's not the typical sandy beach. The beach has small pebbles and they might hurt if you walk barefoot. Something to keep in mind if you are looking for a beach with soft sand. The water was clear and rich color blue.

Stelio'ls if I recall well, has two major buildings with plenty of rooms. It is located in a great spot, close to the beach and close to the main road where you will find more restaurants, car/ATV rentals, ATM's, bakeries, and grocery stores. This hotel exceeded my expectations by a mile. It was a charming simple hotel but doesn't lack comfort. You feel welcome all the time. Perissa Beach one of my fav's spot, a lot to do with Stelio's hospitality.

Before you go, keep in mind:

1. Free airport/port pick up and drop off.
2. A/C at no extra cost.
3. Close to beach
4. Pay cash ONLY
5. Free internet
6. Free parking for cars, bike, and ATV
7. Big Coop Discount Supermarket in the area

Tips:
*** Rent an ATV, the receptionist will recommend a place to go to. My rental cost me 15 euros for a day. It is the best thing you could do for transportation. It's easy to use (automatic) convenient and extremely fun. You will need to have a license.
***Buy your drinks and snacks from the Big Coop Discount Supermarket, very affordable and has variety.
*** Visit Santa Irini Anokita Bakery right by the Big Coop supermarket. This bakery is open 24 hrs. They sale delicious goods.
