“Great place”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 13, 2010

I wasn't going to write a review due to the large number of positive ones that have come before. But what the hell. This was a great place and really enjoyed it. On our last night coming back to the room, Captian Spiros sat us down and poured us wine and chatted until the early hours.

There were some earlier comments about the sounds from the road. I'm happy to say that double glazing patio doors have been installed and external noise is a thing of the past. I have been told that new internal doors will be put in next to cut down on noisy neighbours slamming doors.

I would love to come back again. If you go, don't forget to visit Dorians across the road.

We only got to stay here for 2 days as our flights was cancelled, but we both wish we had actually booked a week here. The owners of this hotel were just fantastic, so friendly and wanted to give the family feel which shows. They obviously work very hard at keeping the hotel in the great state it is in and I would love to go back there just to see the owners! The pool was clean and big - it even has a jacuzzi!. They are aware that the hotel is on the main road and as such the room we stayed in had fantastic double glazing so you really couldn't hear anything ( and i am a light sleeper). The breakfast was fresh and good portions and the best thing was the friendliness of everyone. Location was great, price unbelieveable... everything was. Go there now now now!!

This is a great hotel located very close (5 mins walk) to the beautiful black sand beach in Perissa. The room was immaculate and tastefully decorated, the owners could not have been more friendly and accomodating and the pool behind the hotel offers up the most wonderful view of the mountains. It's the perfect place for a quiet break, we just wish we had been able to stay for longer!

When we first planned our trip, I searched Trip Advisor for a good place to stay. I e-mailed Spiros at Hotel Zorzis, and his response was very quick, well-written and no question was too small. When we arrived, Spiros and 'Roko immediately greeted us even though it was 11:00pm. Their hospitality was amazing, and they made us feel right at home.
The hotel is very clean and beautiful. The flowers surrounding the hotel are abundant and very pretty. Then there's the pool -- it's an oasis of tranquility. You have a great view of the mountain and it's very quiet.
The hotel's location is a great place to stay if you want to be close to Perissa Beach. There are a great number of restaurants (our favorites were Atlantic Island, Lava, God's Kitchen and Grandma's Place) and bars (a visit to Dorian's is a must).
The bus stop is 10 yards from the hotel, and you can utilize the bus service to explore the whole island. We rented a car from Easy Car, and it was exactly that -- easy. In two days, we explored every spot on the island. Thira and Oia are absolutely picturesque.
Spiros and 'Roko could not do enough for us. After dinner, we would often sit with Spiros to enjoy his company.
If you plan to go to Santorini and want a place to relax that is close to the beach, Hotel Zorzis won't disappoint.

Just returned from a two week stay at the Zorzis, as you can tell from many of the reviews before us, this place is a little gem.

Spiros and Roko (the owners) are two of the friendliest and most helpful people you're ever likely to meet. They are always there to give you tips and advice if needed, places to go and see and where to eat, they know the island like the back of their hands.

The rooms are spotless, you get fresh towels every day, you are provided with pool towels as well as bottled water on arrival.

Amazing value for money, we will return sometime soon!!

Go, you will love it.

We stayed 5 nights at the Zorzis having been unsuccessful last year with the hotel fully booked upon tripadvisor recommendations.

I can definately see why this hotel is rated number 1 in Perissa! We had read so many positive reviews on Cpt Spiros & his partner Roko. The hotel is located on the main Perissa road, near to Dorians & Bob's Bar - ideal location. On arrival they greeted us outside and offered us a refreshing juice as it was mid-day heat.

We stayed in room number 6, beautiful rooms so clean, tastefully decorated with a balcony that caught the morning sun overlooking the mountain. The hotel itself was spotless, Spiros, Roko and the cleaners really make such an effort and take great pride in their hotel and pleasing their guests. The hotel has a great pool outside with plenty of loungers, and the hotel is surrounded by beautiful gardens & flowers which are so well maintined. There are only 10 rooms in the hotel which also makes it feel more family run. On the day of arrival it was my birthday and Spiros & Roko left a bottle of wine in a basket of flowers on our bed with two glasses to enjoy which was a lovely gesture.

Breakfast was also one of the best I had in Perissa with Juice, Tea or Coffee, Bread with Jam, Honey, Fresh Yoghurt, Fresh Fruit and cake. There was no noise from the main road, had 5 perfect nights of sleep. Hotel also had free Wi-Fi.

Spiros usually was sat outside and we would sitand chat most evenings before or after we ventured out for food, speaking about the world, Greece and his days on his cruise ship. Always willing to help and provide recommendations. He also provided us with another bottle of wine on our departure for a few remaining nights in Fira. Other guests we spoke to had returned for many subsequent years to Zorzis which speaks volumes for the hotel and its owners.

This is certainly a hotel to stay at if you visit Perissa, we look forward to returning in the near future. Thankyou Spiros & Roko for your wonderful hospitality and beautiful little hotel.

Just left Zorzis following a weeks stay. Everything good written on this site is so true about this little hotel (10 rooms only). So simple but very bright airy and contemporary.
Spiros and 'roko are just wonderful hosts . On three nights we sat and had a nightcap with Spiros who shared with us his local red wine into the small hours of the morning. Last night there were 12 of us from Germany australia and the uk. A great time was had by all.
Back to the hotel - the exterior is surrounded by the most beautiful plants and flowers, the pool sits under the presence of the nearby mountain which makes a lovely backdrop. No problem here with lack of sunbeds.
The rooms themselves are simple but spotlessly clean and nicely decorated in pastel blue
upstairs rooms are clearly the best and when I go back (which god willing I will)I have been promised an upstairs room (I'll hold you to that Spiros!!).
The hotel is perfectly placed for bars restaurants and is about a 5 minute walk to the beach.
All in all a perfect week . Thanks Spiros and 'Roko.
