“Amazing boutique hotel and wonderful hosts.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 8, 2013

This was about our 10th visit to Perissa and we decided on a change of hotels after reading trip adviser reviews and WOW we're so glad we did.
This place is almost indescribable, the most fantastic small hotel we've stayed in in Greece and we've been to a lot of Greek islands on our travels. Centrally placed in Perissa on the main road with easy access to shops, beach and restaurants. Everything was immaculate from the decor, to the pool area, to the garden and flowers around the property.
Spiros and Hiroko are amazing hosts and there isn't much they don't know or won't be able to help you with, fantastic knowledge even down to how may cruise ships will be in so letting you know when it would be quieter to go to Thira or Oia.
Rooms are beautifully decorated with ceiling fan/air con (no charge) wifi, hairdryer, safe and balcony. Breakfasts consist of fresh juices, Greek yoghurt, fresh fruit, fresh bread/cake, tea/coffee, honey and jams served by Hiroko and Maria.
The hotel is spotlessly clean you could eat off the floor I'm sure, Maria works so hard cleaning the rooms and the place always smells lovely.

I was unsure whether to write this review purely from a selfish perspective as we want to keep this special place for ourselves but if you do stay here you won't be disappointed, it's AMAZING!!! but don't tell anyone!

A thousand thankyous to a special couple Spiros and Hiroko for making our stay so wonderful, can't wait to return next year. P.S. Hiroko I hope you are feeding our cats!!! LOL.xxx

Just returned from a 7 night stay at Zorzis hotel, which surpassed all expectations set by the below reviews. Everything about the hotel was immaculate, with a good sized pool surrounded by spectacular mountains (ideal location very near to the beach). Spiros and Hiroko provided all the must have hints and tips which let us explore all Santorini has to offer in just the one week. Spiros very kindly went out of his way to drive me to a pharmacy having come down with a nasty heat rash, which goes to show the level of effort these guys go to to ensure you have the best holiday. Faultless stay, recommended to all our friends & family, and will be returning very soon!

Room Tip: Request a room with mountain views

Many thanks to Spiros and Rocco for their hospitality. This Hotel is a real find, do not pass up on an opportunity to stay here. The rooms are very cosy and clean, any request is promptly dealt with. The grounds, gardens and pool are meticulously well kept. The Hotel is in walking distance of good restaurants, bars and shops. Perissa beach is within easy walking distance and the local bus stop is virtually outside.

Zorzis was a wonderful stay. The hotel itself is spotless and comfortable but the extra ordinary detail placed into the hotel and the amazing level of service provided by Spiros & Hiroko are what truly make a memorable destination. The time spent speaking with Spiros and Hiroko on the porch and having some wine some of the highlights of our stay in Santorini. Not to mention all the wonderful advice on what to see and do around the island.

As you look for destinations to stay in Santorini and are looking for a beach destination (Perissa or Kamari) this is where you need to stay. Just do it, you won't regret it. The location is not directly on the beach but that's actually excellent since it means you can have some privacy and relaxation at the great pool and enjoy the garden. It's a short walk to the beach and there are shops nearby for laundry and groceries, car rentals, ATM, and bakery.

The only thing you do need to be aware of is the actual geography of the island. There is the Caldera side, with the steep cliff side towns and hotels with amazing views, and there is the beach side, this is flatter and much quieter with hotels and beach restaurants and bars. So no views of cliffs with the blue churches and such. Keep that in mind and you'll be fine.

If that works for you stay at Zorzis and enjoy comfortable rooms with a great pool and garden, maybe get a car to get around as the buses can be less than fun and don't go everywhere. Stop at some of the little wineries as well as the big ones and enjoy the Vin Santo. Most importantly take the time to talk with Spiros and Hiroko to get to know some fantastic people and create some great memories.

Hope to see them both again in the future.

My mother and I just spent three wonderful days at Zorzis Hotel, Perissa. Hiroko and Spiros are wonderful hosts, who saw to our every need. Every morning, Hiroko met us in the breakfast room to provide useful information about the island and things to do, and make suggestions for sights to see.
My mother is from Okinawa, Japan, so it was a welcome surprise to meet Hiroko and find she too is from Japan!!
The hotel is not only clean, it is spotless.
Our only regret....we only spent three days at this lovely hotel with our hospitable hosts. Mom and I are definitely planning to return to visit Hiroko and Spiros and their lovely hotel very soon. And hope to become regular visitors at Zorzis Hotel!!
BTW....location to food, beach, tourist shops, archeological sites, wineries, sea and air ports is central! We only used a vehicle when we need to get from the ports to the hotel and return. Otherwise, we walked to the beach and restaurants and shopping without a problem, (mom is 71).
We miss the island and Zorzis Hotel already...and we just left this morning!!

A truly fabulous holiday. This hotel is run by Spiros and Hiroko with whom we can't thank enough. Nothing is too much trouble for this lovely couple. The hotel is spotless and the gardens and pool area beautiful. Breakfast was delicious. The location is perfect to get around this beautiful island. All in all a perfect holiday. We definitely will be returning.
