“Very lucky find”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed September 6, 2013

We arrived at Santorini airport at 7pm having no accommodation booked and were very lucky to be given this hotel details from the hotel finder agency there. The manager collected us, and although the room on our 1st night was very small, we were given a lovely room for the rest of our 5 night stay. The hotel is spotless, with a lovely pool, very helpful and friendly staff and in a good location in the much cheaper resort of Perissa, only a 10 minute walk to the beach and lots of good restaurants.A good breakfast was included in the price of the room, served in a very clean breakfast room.We were given a lift to the ferry port, picked up again there on our return after visiting Paros and Naxos and then driven to the airport at the end of our stay...all at no extra charge. The room was very reasonably priced for the standard of the hotel. Only reason we haven't given it top rating is the occasional road noise due to the high number of very loud motorbikes and lorries...not the hotel's fault of course! We would definitely recommend this very lucky find to any type of traveller.

Room Tip: Rooms 21 and 22 face the front and have lovely balconies overlooking the pool.

The owner of the hotel picked us up at the Ferry Port free of charge (5 Euro charge to be driven back at the end of our stay) and showed us around the hotel. Our room was basic with two twin beds, a fridge, desk and a private bathroom. It was clean and exactly what we would have expected in a guesthouse. Wifi also worked well all around.

The hotel is located on the main road in Perissa, which is quite a way from from the towns of Oia and Fera but with Santorini being less than 40km long, you can get around the whole island in a day, even on a slow 4-wheeler or scooter, which we did and really enjoyed. Near the hotel, you can find rental places, restaurants, shops and bakeries. Everything you need on a daily basis.

Perissa has many bars and restaurants near the beach although in September, they were mostly all empty already. Although we've been told by many locals that in July and August, Perissa is the place to be.

For E20/night, we were very much impressed with this hotel. I'd stay here again, at high season without hesitation.

Arriving on the Ferry from Athens, the owner of the hotel was waiting to collect me and my friend to bring us to the hotel. Arriving at the hotel which is south of the island , first impressions were great. Beautiful little hotel set in front of a mountain with a nice (small ) pool outside and deck chairs. Room was gorgeous, A/C fridge and tv and two double beds, one bed being on a mezzanine level but had a ladder to get up. Was very nice. Breakfast included, basic but perfect start to your day, seeing as it was very hot outside. There was a supermarket directly across the road and a beautiful bakery open 24hrs. Car hire opposite too at great prices and 10 min walk down a sandy road lead you to the beach. Lots of bars and restaurants along the beach, very chilled but good atmosphere. A little village is 5 mins walk down from
Hotel too. We hired a quad and a jeep in the 5 days and were able to explore the whole island. Petrol was cheap too, visited all the different points of the island and we were glad to relax back on the little balcony of the hotel at nighttime.. All in all. A wonderful time spent, would live to go back!

We arrived at the harbour by ferry and Yannis was there to meet us. The hotel look like it does in the photos. It was clean and inviting. It is a family run business and Yannis mother, Joanna was there in the mornings to see to the breakfast which was very nice. She gave us figs every morning and spoilt us with her divine cake. I can highly recommend this hotel for the budget travellerThe pool was wonderful and sparkling clean. There is a supermarket across the road and a bakery. The bus is a few metres away and the beach is 8 minute walk.

We were gonna stay only 4 days, but we liked it so much we ended up staying for 10, the owner is so nice and very helpful always with a big smile. Great location, you can walk from there to the black beach, there's a bakery across the street that is open 24 hrs, there's also a supermarket and an ATM. The bus stop is just a block down the street in case you want to go to Thira which is 20 to 30 min away. The room was clean, clean towels, good air conditioner, it was just perfect. Amazing vacations I'll be back for sure =)...
