One of Santorini’s specialities is the locally-grown tomato. Due to the generally arid conditions on the island, the tomato is a small, shrivelled-looking thing. However, it is the very fact that it isn’t watery that makes the taste so special. Ntomatini specialise in this tomato. The restaurant is on the beach-front and has a modern styling. I had tomatini with anchovies followed by pork chop ntomatini. The food was delicious and the service was good. Prices were average. In terms of how it compares to the other restaurants on the beach-front I would say it was pretty good. The thing is that there are a lot of good restaurants around it so it is difficult to stand out. The restaurant does have a website (www.ntomatini.com), including menu, so you can check it out in advance if you want.
