“such a place - does it really exist ??!!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 27, 2012

We arrived tired and with the worst hangover in history after 3 crazy days of parting and heavy drinking in Mykonos. From the moment we entered the hotel i knew we had made the best choice!!
Unique location at the top of Firostefani village with the most breathtaking view to the volcano. Our room was at the highest floor and we were experiencing an even better view (i was wondering how was that possible!!) Very comfortable room , nicely decorated the kind you wanna stay in!!!
Haven't visited a cleaner place in Greece!!(don't forget to tip the cleaning ladies) And what about the people that run this place ? Propably the sexiest men on the island!!. Alex , Dennis and Thomas. Friendly , at your service on a 24hour basis giving recomendations on where to eat , swimm , drink , etc and make you feel like you own the place or the island for that matter.
I strongly reccomend that you take the island tour with Thomas cause he is gonna take you to places you won't be able to find by yourself. I bet a million bucks that if you visit Santorini and stay at Blue Dolphins you propably gonna erase from your mind all other hotels and places in the world!!! See you again guys. Alex , Dennis , Thomas THANK YOU!!!!!

Our stay in the Blue Dolphins was an unforgetable experience; you get to wake up to the most amazing views on the entire island, the apartments are very clean and comfortable and well equiped for the modern traveller, but best of all were the hosts of the Blue Dolphins - Alexis, Thomas and Dennis will help you get the most out of your stay in Santorini, and are the most accomodating people I have ever met in the hospitality industry. If you want to see the best and stay in the best of Santorini, stay at the Blue Dolphins!

Surfing through the hotels of Santorini, Greece I came across a very very colourful website of this hotel. I decided to book three rooms for me, my married son and my daughter on the basis of the pictures and informations given in the web site. since I have travelled through uncounted several pages of hundreds and thousands of websites and found many of them deceptive and far way from reality, I was apprehensive about this website also. But on arriving at this hotel, I found that every piece of information and every photo given in their official website was true.
Though this hotel is also struggling through recession, it is still very well managed by a few staff on rolls. The view from its rooms is extremely amazing, beautiful and a feast for your eyes. The breakfast is simple but served at a place from where the scenic beauty of the volcano, the sea and the ships sailing in blue waters and blue clear sky above you all mesmerize you and you forget the simple breakfast very humbly and lovingly served to you. Don't forget to tip the ladies who clean your room with whatever money you wish to give. Its an underlying custom.Fellow travellers will receive their money's worth by staying in this hotel.

Room Tip: All the rooms are more or less the same. Choose higher floors though its difficult for old and bulky...

My friend and I have been travelling for the last 6 weeks and out of all places, this place is beyond top notch than the rest! Not only is this the most beautiful place, the hotel made it even better (who knew it could get better than this?). The view from our room was amazing. We decided to come to Santorini a few days prior (almost last minute) and Alexis did a great job accommodating us. Since we booked a few days before arriving, many of the rooms were full so we had to switch rooms during our four-night stay. We got a taste of all the rooms. We stayed in a double room the first night; got upgraded to the cave room the second night at no extra cost, and for the last 2 nights, we got the honeymoon cave suite (again, upgraded at no extra cost). THANK YOU ALEXIS!

The service was fantastic. The staff is extremely outgoing and happy to help you. We paid 20 euros for the bus shuttle from the port to the hotel which is worth it. A cab would've been more expensive. Take the tour with Thomas! THOMAS IS THE BEST GREEK! The cost of the tour was worth it, Do it! Any questions, Alexis, Thomas, Dennis and the maids are super happy to help you.

The rooms were clean and breakfast was delicious. Fresh orange juice! The maids are great. Don't forget to tip (They deserve it).

THANK YOU BLUE DOLPHINS! We will definitely be back!

We have been to many beautiful places in our travels but if someone told me they could take 1 trip before they died, I would recommend Santorini-----AND to stay at the Blue Dolphins, because that was a huge part of what made our stay here so wonderful. We arrived without a room but headed right over there because of the reviews I had read. They were pretty full but found us a room that was lovely, as they all are. We had the huge terrace to ourselves most of the time except for at breakfast and the view was truly breathtaking---it is high so you are looking down at the other beautiful hotels spilling down the cliff, and, of course, the caldera. The price seemed to us to be a steal----and we were up-graded at no extra charge our last night to a huge room with private balcony and big windows all around, including the bathroom. Staying here was an experience I almost cannot put into words. Staff was genuinely kind (even brought us wine and treats once while we were relaxing on the terrace) and was very intent on making sure everything was just right for us. Thank you for everything.

i stayed here with my parents for 2 nights(room no 111).The location of the hotel is beautiful and central.we had booked romantic suites and the view from the room and the balcony was breathtaking. The staff is more efficient and hard working than a luxury 5 star hotel. The hotel does not have a swimming pool but is overshadowed by the love and care by the staff of blue dolphins. The rooms are spacious and clean. Will surely be back at blue dolphins.Thankyou Blue dolphins.

Room Tip: look no further.
