“Very friendly for a tourist trap”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed July 14, 2014

We we're a group of 10 looking for a place to have some beers before lunch. 2 establishments refused us unless we had lunch but this friendly place accepted us readily with one of the best tables on a balcony terrace. We were so impressed with their service we ended up having a really good lunch here!

“Great view”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed July 9, 2014

Food is not special, tapa dish looked fine. View from the terrace is lovely in the evening sun, on the red rocks of Roussilon. Terrace in front shows to small market place, with animation on tuesday evenings in July. A pitty you need to pay 2euro for the parking till 20h. So, come a bit earlier and stroll through the village, that is a real tourist trap, bit a colourfull one.

“Great Lunch, Great View, Friendly Service”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed June 26, 2014

Eight of us had lunch here last week and we all were very happy with the food and the service, but the view was spectacular. I had Steak Frites and it was amazing! I ate every it the whole thing. All the meals were delicious. I recommend this restaurant for a fun dining experience.

“Worst service I've ever received in all my years of travel”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed June 13, 2014

My wife, one-year old daughter and I went to this restaurant two days ago for lunch. We went to the restaurant because it seemed to have a nice view from the back balcony. While I have to say that the view from the balcony is very nice, the service was so atrocious that I recommend eating anywhere but here in Roussillon.

We noticed two small adjacent tables with a nice view, and asked the waitress if we could push them together to make space for our daughter. Even though there were several open tables, the waitress first stared blankly at us, then gave us a dirty look, and indicated that we could push the tables together ourselves but she would not help us. We did that, and shortly after were told (not asked) by the manager that we had to move to make space for a table of seven, even though they were already seated behind us and seemed to have enough space.

We mentioned that we wanted to enjoy the view and asked to stay at our table because the other table was by a large column and therefore didn't have a view at all. The manager was so rude that we felt uncomfortable staying at our table, so we did move and expected the waitress to at least help us move our bags, but of course she didn't.

The manager claimed he would bring us a bottle of wine to make up for the inconvenience, only to come back with two small glasses (not a bottle) of bad wine. The waitress finally arrived to take our order, and was so unwelcoming and impatient that we just walked out.

Awful experience - do not go here!

“Best Little Bistrot”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 31, 2014

We were all very impressed, just stopped for a quick lunch and were not expecting anything, and wow what a surprise, Really good food, our friends had the hamburger and said it was one of the best they had ever had. Great service and lovely views in a very pretty village.
