This is a bustling bistro with a mixture of locals and tourists. The USP is that the mains are prepared on a rotisserie. The welcome was warm on a rainy November day and Laura spoke good English which was appreciated by our non-French speaking friends.
Being four, we were lucky to have our own table and benches but be prepared to share if the bistro is crowded.
The food was good rather than brilliant with ample choice for each of the three courses. Our selections (all different) were well cooked and flavoursome. Wine choice was pretty good but prices were on the high side. Commercial Northern France as opposed to rural Burgundy? Service however was exceptional and well paced, giving us time to appreciate the convivial atmosphere.
In summary, despite the high wine prices, the bill and food were OK. 'Correct' as the French would say.
Would I go again - Yes. Would I go out of my way - No.
