“A lush hideaway in the hills outside of Panama City”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 12, 2013

Our family group of eight spent only one night at Park Eden and we wished that we had known to arrange more! The rooms were spacious and beautifully apportioned. The breakfast was a delightful mix of Panamanian dishes (and good coffee). Our host was very helpful and gracious. The grounds were lush and beautiful. A completely delightful visit.

Lovely place to relax in a beautiful location! We enjoyed our 3 night stay with breakfast in the garden surrounded by the birds and beautiful flowers. Monica was very friendly and welcoming , answered all our questions and even made dinner reservations for us. The neighborhood is quiet and safe--we would love to stay here again! Thank you Monica for sharing your beautiful gardens with us!

We stayed in La Casita, which was orignially the famliy's summer home. It was a comfortable sweet cottage, it even had a porch in front with chairs. The grounds are beautiful and home to many beauitful exotic (to us) birds. I saw my first wild woodpecker one morning at breakfast. The grounds are very well kept and one can enjoy lying in the hammocks or simply wandering around enjoying the shade. Park Eden is not in town ( a plus for us) but you can easily walk in as we did a few times. The streets are wide and local people were very friendly in this lovely area.
Monica the owner is so gracious and warm. She welcomed us upon our arrival and spent a few minutes asking about what she had done so far as well as our plans for the rest of the trip. She then gave us tons of vaulable local information and suggestions. Following several of her recommendations make our time in El Valle even more memorable. There was a problem with the internet access upon learning this she invited us into her home so that we could access it. Not wanting to be intrusive we treied to quickly finish up but she insisted we stay and take all the time we needed , she also gave us excellent directions to our next destination. Breakfast was made to order and included fresh fruits, breads and juice. One morning Monica made some tasty empanadas as an extra treat for the guests. Staff was friendly and helpful. The only negative is the short span of unpaved rocky pot holed road right before you reach Park Eden though plans are under consideration to remedy this. Despite our intial concern it was fine to drive on at night. We felt as if we were staying with an old friend, we would stay here again.

I don't understand the good rate for this address... Certainly the place is nice, we can take breakfast in the garden with birds. But owners not here, no warm welcome as we can expect it in a bed and breakfast. And the worst, the room was so dirty! Dust, dead bugs and tissue under the bed... curtains with spots, old and dirty shower curtain. We took the Colibri room with a bed on mezzanine and kitchen. The kitchen is very tinny and no practice: impossible to seat with big legs... Really too expensively for it! 165 dol per night

To me this is the best experience I have ever had in Panama! It was love at first sight, I had gone to El Valle previously and stayed elsewhere but went to check out Park Eden before returning back to the city! I had to book then and there!
Just came back and spent an awesome night at the enchanting and very relaxing Bed and Breakfast! Everyone is so kind and Monica (owner), is such a welcoming and warm host, the whole staff makes you feel at home!
I would definitly recommend Park Eden in you are in need of the perfect getaway with the person you love and family!

I stayed two nights and it could not have been any better. Monica was not there at the time I arrived but the rest of the " crew" were there !! They were kind and ready to help. It was a wonderful stay that I would like to come back soon, God willing. Breakfast is delicious accompanied with fresh fruits, the room was clean and the gardens beautiful. Be ready for natural music: birds singing !! El Valle de Anton is a very nice place to visit. Don't miss " El Nispero Zoo" if you are animals lover.

We stayed two nights and it could not have been any better. From the time we arrived with a major issue that Monica & Lionel dropped everything to help us resolve until we left, it was a wonderful stay. Breakfast is delicious, the room was clean and the gardens are beautiful.
