It may be surprising that there's a large Chinese population in Panama and if you're looking for an easy pick, Restauraunte Pekin (Peking) in El Valle is on the central avenue about a block from the Canadian bar and grill. It's next to SuperMini Pekin, look for the building with the Chinese arches, next door to the bakery/panaderia. The place doesn't look like much inside, but it's clean and authentic. The waitress is acommodating as well. They have liquor and beer and a large menu selection. I believe they are cantonese. The chicken chow main didn't look the same as I get back home in the States, but boy was it Delicious! Travelling by myself, I went back two nights in a row. Prices are above average for Panama, but absolutely average for El Valle, which sees a lot of tourists, so about $8 an entree. Lots of parking in front.
