“Amazing Stay! Can't wait to come back!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 4 weeks ago

We had an amazing vacation in Costa Rica, made even better by our stay at this gorgeous, immaculate hotel! We were greeted very warmly at check-in and shown around the property. The bed is big (king) and very comfortable and we had a kitchenette to make breakfast and snacks. The A/C made it very comfortable to sleep and we had access to free Wi-Fi. Our room was small, but clean and just right for the two of us. We were not there much during the day anyways because there is so much to do in the surrounding area! It is a short walk or atv ride to the beach, bank, shops and various delicious restaurants. Atv rides to close-by Mal Pais and Montezuma for even more restaurants, beaches and adventure tours.
There is delicious coffee available at all times and a convenient honour bar with wine, beer, water and soft drinks available. A book exchange is also available for those that love to read.
Amazing views of the sunset as it is located on top of a hill just behind the main street of the town. We had an incredibly relaxing and romantic time in the evenings and between excursions here. It felt like the pool and surrounding decks were all ours!
The owners and staff were very friendly and always said hello, but left us to do our thing. They are known to help with scheduling excursions and activities, but I have friends living in the area who showed us around, so we did not need that service. There is a dog there named Kona who is such a sweetie. A very nice addition to the place!
I really hope to come back one day for a longer stay!

My brother and I stayed at Casa Marbella in early November and loved every aspect of our stay. Mikey, the property manager, as well as Jim and Stephanie were such great hosts and helped us answer all of our questions about Santa Teresa. The rooms are wonderful - clean, lovely and spacious. The property is gorgeous and overlooks the ocean.

There is no breakfast, but they offer coffee and have a kitchen that is easy to stock.

The only caveat is getting up and down the rocky hill in front of the property.

We found this place thanks to reviews on this site and after quite a few failures on the previous nights, finding this gem was like a gift from the Gods! Very clean, beautiful room. Cozy, quiet and friendly/helpful staff. Beautiful view and a great infinity-type pool. Prices very reasonable both during high and low seasons. Extended our stay in Santa Teresa just to be able to stay longer. Theyre lucky i actually left! I could have stayed forever :)

My family and I had an absolutely perfect experience at Casa Marbella! The rooms were air conditioned, clean, and beautiful. The beds were comfy. The view was absolutely breath taking. The pool was stunning! Most of all, the staff was wonderful. We talked a lot to the manager and he was so helpful with giving us ideas and directions and showing us the howler monkeys! Casa Marbella and Santa Teresa was the highlight of our trip. We really hope to return.

Room Tip: We stayed in room number 1. It was a suit. It had a master bedroom with a private balcony that was...

Stayed here with my GF.
Very small property with a great view and just up from the main road. The rooms are clean and have AC.
If you can book one of the suites they have a hammock over looking the ocean and have kitchenettes.
My GF took surf lessons from Jim the owner and she had a great time.
The staff directed us to some good activities, waterfalls and horse back riding.
The property has an honor based fridge with waters beers and soft drinks.
We would stay here again if we find our way back to Santa Teresa.

Room Tip: book a suite

We were more than pleasantly surprised with our stay at Casa Marbella. The staff are helpful and friendly. Mikey is available for surf lessons, which is a nice plus. The rooms are clean, with air conditioning. The pool is beautiful with a great view. There is a restaurant right next door (ask the front desk about it), that has some of the best food we had in Santa Teresa, and also has a great view. The only issue worth mentioning, is that the hotel is at the top of a very steep hill, which could be an issue for some people. You have to walk up this steep driveway to make it to the hotel. We made it up the hill in our rental car, but it was still problematic and always felt a little touch and go! Otherwise, amazing place. Maybe if the drive was paved it would make the trek a little easier?

This place is amazing! I wish we had found it earlier! The staff is super friendly and helpful, the hotel is gorgeous, clean, and has an amazing view of the beach in the distance. It is a small walk down the hill to great restaurants and the grocery store. We had a gorgeous evening making dinner in our Santa Teresa home, did yoga on their yoga deck, and lounged in the pool! Definitely go here over any other places near it!

Room Tip: They are all gorgeous! If you have 6 people then room 8 is amazing!
