“Soraya and Trent and their place are perfect!!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 18, 2013

We stayed 6 nights in the big house on top of the hill in the large middle floor apartment. Everything from the moment we checked in to the moment we left far exceeded our expectations. We left another accommodation because we were unhappy - and found Soraya on our travels looking for a new place. She had one apartment/house available which was huge for just the 2 of us but we jumped at it because she and her husband Trent were so helpful and professional. The apartment was immaculate, well laid out, nicely decorated, had a semi-private gorgeous pool, a fully equipped kitchen, air conditioning, a great bathroom - 2 sinks and a huge shower, a large deck to watch the sun set, and hang wet clothes, comfy beds, pillows, linens, etc...bottled water...honestly it could not have been better. My husband and I travel a lot and we have stayed in every different kind of accommodation available and I don't think I was ever in a place with such "sincere and devoted" customer service. Soryaya and Trent really want their guests to be happy and love the area and have a great vacation. They make wonderful suggestions for eating and activities and they even introduced us to other guests who they thought we would like, and we did! (We spent many meals with them and had nice conversations at the pool and on the beach.) It was a great vacation and if I could give Casas de Soleil 10 stars I would! Thank you Soraya and Trent!! I hope you read your reviews, every single one is a 5 star rating!

“Beautiful!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 28, 2013

Soraya and Trent are two kind, down-to-earth folks who have a created a beautiful and really special oasis. My boyfriend and I stayed in Casa Grande and it far exceeded our expectations. Immaculate, spacious, simply and gorgeously decorated and tucked in the trees. (Right by the pool though, and you should know that in case you are seeking quiet time-- cute children may be occasionally having the time of their lives right outside your window). We also got to stay one night in the studio at Mirador and our minds were blown-- the pool right out front and the rooftop patio with hammock and lounge made us feel like the luckiest people in the world-- we even saw monkeys in the trees early one morning! Oh, and they have five darling, loyal dogs who you'll see around a lot. Heaven. Such sweethearts. Archie even accompanied us to our surfing lesson. Super cute.

Trent built all the homes and did so with artistry and love. These are dream houses. Only a five minute walk down to the beach (very strong waves), or you can rent an ATV and go a little further to other beautiful beaches and towns. Lots of great restaurants nearby-- our favorites are Las Piedras and Habanero. Especially Habanero--wonderful atmosphere and killer food. The roads in Santa Teresa and Mal Pais (and the surrounding area) are dusty and unpaved and the town is small and quaint, but lively. And if you're into that, it's magic.

“The best trip ever!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 18, 2013

It was a great vacation, from the weather, view, hospitality and the location it was perfection. I went with a big group of friends that also had never been to Costa Rica, chose this place from the reviews and our expectations were better than what we thought. The family was so friendly helpful and made our experience so nice. I felt safe staying at Casas de soleil. The town is so welcoming, everything is walking distance, when we wanted suggestions to restaurants, or adventures everyone was helpful to help us find what we wanted. I'm recommending this costs rica to everyone! Family, friends, or for a honeymoon! Thanks to Trey, family and staff, I can't wait to go back!

“Soraya and Trent go the extra mile; 58 five star ratings can't be wrong!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 15, 2013

We arrived tired after a long trip that included three automotive segments and three flights.
Soraya and Trent have a great team working for them. Coqui works not stop on the grounds and was so helpful whether we needed a coconut chopped or needed help with the grill. Santos works hard at night to keep you safe, and the housekeeping team was always there the keep the place nice and tidy. The property is located a ten minute walk to the beach. There are many places to eat nearby.( One of the misconceptions I had regarding St. T's is that that town was compact....it really is a collection of hostels, hotels, and places to eat that run along a dusty, crowded road that runs parallel to the beach. Walking can be difficult and impossible at night to travel some of the distances required by foot.)
Soraya and Trent have many good recommendations. The houses are well equipped, beds and pillows comfortable. Casas de Soleil is worthy of the praise.

“Best Vacation Ever!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 6, 2013 via mobile

This was our first trip to Costa Rica and most definitely will NOT be our last. Our large family (4 adults and 6 kids) shared Casa Mirador and Casa Romantica and it was plenty of room for all. The perfect balance of luxury with just a touch of rustic. Soraya and Trent and the staff worked so hard to make everything just right. There is lots of adventure available but lounging in the gorgeous pool and looking at the monkeys in the trees was awesome too. Clearly Soraya and Trent love this little treasure of a town and want to make sure you love it too. We will be back for sure!!!
