This is legit the best dorms I stayed in during my trip in Costa Rica. Had a blast here! The hostel is located at like 2 minutes of the beast break in Santa Theresa: the surfing of the beach in front is amazing!! Idan and Amir are two great hosts, always ready to accomodate. There's everything you need ine the place. Kitchen (guys, please buy some new pan though!), mini convenient store in reception, pool, pool table, chilling lounge, surf racks, and a super cool maid that cleans perfectly all the place every day.

SOOO. after being kicked out of my last hostel for lack of beds (even though I reserved ugh) I walked about 100 meters down the road to Cabinas Playa. They had a bed for me AND for another person that also got kicked out of the other hostel. Right away the vibe is incredibly friendly and reassuring for the person staying there- they are relaxed but not devoid of customer service in the slightest... Something experienced in my last hostel. So yea. Thank god.
Also music is playing all day, I like that. Just a stones throw away from entrance to beach. And these dudes are willing to help you for your travels. Woohoooo.

You have to check out Cabinas Playa in Santa Teresa! Great atmosphere and right across from the beach and two of the biggest night life spots in the town. Also located in between the two grocery stores and near several great restaurants and surf board rentals. I have stayed at several hostels throughout the world and Cabinas Playa is definitely my favorite. The owners are very friendly, knowledgeable and fun to hang with. Hammocks every where, a pool to refresh yourself after a day in the salt water and sand, pool table, and large communal area to chill in by day and party at night. Kitchen with refrigerator to cook but they also sell a good variety of delicious food at a fair price. Also have bike rentals. It's clean, friendly, and outgoing, with great vibes. They provide dorms, private rooms, camping, or hammocks at some of the best prices in town. I highly recommend you check out the best spot to chill in Santa Teresa! Pura Vida <3

The location is perfect to get to the best beach break of the area,as its in front of the hostel,you only just have to cross the street.
Very good vibe - you meet a lot of friendly people - staff is looking after you and have loads of cold beers ready for you after a long day surfing. But also the food they make is great.

We first spent 2 nights there and then went travelling across the country but we decided to come back and finish our trip at cabinas playa because you feel just great when you are there.

I'll be back for sure.
