This place has a great website! And that's pretty much it. I reserved a private room with a bathroom for $35 per night for the two of us. We stayed in this price range, private rooms, our whole 17 days in Costa Rica so we had expected it to be simple, but safe and clean and otherwise ok. This place advertises a secure gated courtyard, a sports bar, rooms with fridges, TVs, and AC--none of which existed (the tv was present, but did not work). The room was also furnished with one bed and a plastic garage shelving unit. The floor was so dirty that when I swiped my hand on it, my hand looked like I had rubbed it in the dirt street outside. The only positive was the staff, who offered to watch our bags for us while we walked around and looked for a different place and refunded our money with their apologies. They seemed to genuinely understand our concerns.
The bottom line is that if you are looking for a place to crash and that's it, then this is fine. We were just disappointed with the website's misrepresentation of the property.
