“One of our favourite lunch spots!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 12, 2013

We were here 2 years ago and had to come back. We stayed close by (at Manala, which is a must stay when visiting Santa Teresa). We came here quite a few times for lunch and every time the bread was soft and warm, tasting like it had just come out of the oven! Our favourite was a simple ham and cheese, but that is only because we always had the same thing. This is probably one of the cheapest places to get lunch. Sandwiches go for about $5.00 American, where many of the other places have sandwiches for $8.00. If they raised their prices I would still go because their sandwiches are amazing! They have great and friendly service and still remembered us from 2 years ago. They also have great smoothies. Once we were out of the area, we rented an atv and came back and picked up lunch for our atv day trip. If you try their sandwich bread, you will keep coming back. This was our favourite lunch spot!

“Good breakfast spot”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed January 25, 2013

We had a breakfast at Ginger. It was good but not particularly special. The service was great. The waitress recommended we sit at another table to stay away from the dust.

“A bit pricey but nice”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed January 22, 2013

The food and smoothies here are great.

Serving breakfast and lunch menus it offers a range of sweet croissants and biscuits to sandwiches and omelette.

The pancho smoothie is amazing. Papaya, ginger, carrot and orange juice with ice. Mmmmmm

The iced coffee with milk is also great for those wanting the caffeine hit without the additional elevated body temperature.

I had the vegetarian sandwich and it was delicious. Lovely ciabatta bread. Crispy on the outside and fluffy and soft on the inside. The veggies were nicely cooked and great flavor.

My husband had an omelette with ham, cheese and avocado. Delicious and cooked to perfection.

Also had a croissant with Nutella. Nice light croissant. Not a perfect one but very edible and delicious.

Will be back if only jus to takeaway another smoothie and coffee.

It is quite a bit pricier than other places around for breakfast and lunch but the quality of the food is great.
