My girlfriend and I stayed at Zula Inn for 8 nights. The two owners Avi and Rotem made us feel like we were part of the family. We stayed in one of their 1 bedroom bungalows and it was a great value. The bungalows are well equipped and their pool area is an oasis. The road in Santa Teresa is sometimes dusty, but Zula is set back far enough where it is not affected by road noise or dust. Avi and Rotem helped us with anything we needed and Zula has a locking gate where there is plenty of parking if you are traveling by car. Safe and secure! Also, the housekeeping staff was just perfect! Their timing was great. We were never once bothered, yet our room stayed perfectly clean and our personal items were handled and looked after with care. Trustworthy staff here!

Rotem's food at their middle eastern eatery just down the street is delicious. You get a nice big plate of delicious food for a good price!

Thanks guys! You were an essential part of a great trip to Costa Rica!

I stayed here for 3 weeks in March 2013, and enjoyed every bit of it. The location is central to the main surf areas, restaurants, and other places you may want to be able to walk to. Avi and Rotem made sure that you were getting what you needed and would help set up any activities you were looking for. Great Place, and I will definitely be coming back. BTW, Their resturnant, which is about 200 yards south of the hotel, is one of the best in town and I ate there many times!

Room Tip: I had a casita close to the pool which i found I liked as I was able to meet other guests that way...

I spent nearly a month at Zula Inn. It had everything I needed and being a solo traveller it felt very safe. It was in a great location - close to the beach, stores, and restaurants. I liked the full kitchen - felt like home being able to prepare a meal or snack when and if I wanted. The table and chairs on the patio were great to sit and have breakfast and plan the day! The pool is a welcome treat after a hot day at the beach. The owners live on site so there is always someone available if you need anything. Thanks to all the staff who felt like friends when I left. I will definitely return!

My girlfriend and I spent 7 days at Zula. Great location. The brothers took care of us like family. Rooms are simple but well done. Kitchen was very useful if you like to cook. There is a new organic market and you can fresh fish in Mal Pias. They staff cleans the kitchen for you each day.
The property is safe, quite and fun. GREAT VALUE. Looking forward to going back. They also own a fantastic cafe, with the best humus outside of Israel.

I spent 8 nights at the Zula Inn and didn't have a single problem. For the location and size of the bungalows it is a great value. It is not luxurious so if that is what you are looking for than you probably wont like it. If you are looking for friendly owners and staff that treat you with respect and want to make sure your visit is pleasant, safe and fun then this is the place to stay in Santa Teresa.

My girlfriend and I spent 5 nights at Zula Inn. The owners are kind, fun and always willing to help in any way. We stayed in a 1 BR bungalow; the room was very clean and quiet.
The hotel is conveniently located just 100 mt from Playa Carmen.
We loved it and would certainly go back!
