Ostra at the Andaz is as good as any fine seafood restaurant is NYC but with exceptional views and a beautiful comfortable open air setting. We were met by the chef for an amuse bouche which she prepared for us personally. We were then taken to our table in a beautiful open air setting, new, hip and comfortable. The staff could not be any more accommodating and friendly. Like all places in Costa Rica, the atmosphere is relaxed, dress still casual but a bit nicer than beach ware for sure. The house specialty cerviches prepared to order were great as were other appetizers. The sea bass and grouper were perfectly prepared, extremely moist and flavorful. We were staying at the hotel so the visit was easy but would highly recommend to anyone staying in the Papagayo area
