We loved our stay at Hamanasi. Our room was spacious and clean, the food was delicious and the staff was always ready to assist in any way they could. Hamanasi is right on a lovely beach and the pool is very nice also. It is a very private resort, perfect for spending time with your significant other because there are no distractions. The tours are worth seeing, the tour guides are knowledgeable but the thing we enjoyed the most was the diving. The dive masters are great and they kept the trip fun and educational. We will definetly go back!

I'm in trouble. My family is threatening revolt if we don't return soon to Hamanasi. We had a great week of being treated like royalty in a very friendly fashion by the staff at Hamanasi. We did 11 dives in warm clear water accompanied by the dive staff who are attentive and skilled but really fun at the same time. Our 10 year old and 12 year old are now certified and fully confident scuba divers. The food was excellent and never repetitious. We did the all-inclusive meal program and it was a great choice. The waiters and restaurant staff were like the dive team... professional but very warm and friendly. We had an oceanfront suite with a king bed in one room and a separate room with two twins for the kids. Very clean. We only did one land-side adventure, the Mayflower hike which was nice. We were too busy enjoying the incredible reefs and 83 degree water. Rough life.... breakfast... dives...lunch...hang at pool....bike ride into Hopkins...back to the pool for happy hour .... great dinner.....sleep.....repeat....If you're looking for nightlife, forget it. If you're a play hard all day and crash early type, it's a great place to spend a week.

“Hamanasi, a "Go To' Resort”

Our stay at Hamanasi ranks with the best of the resorts we have experienced. The location is beautiful, the staff is just the best, the rooms are spacious and comfortable and they offer a wide variety of activities.
As divers,(over 300 dives each) we are very concerned that the dive operation be tops and this one meets that and more. Their divemasters were attentive and, yet, had a good eye for the divers they could let off the leash. We felt attended to, but never stiffled. The reefs and the dive boats are in good shape. We felt very safe.
The atmosphere is very relaxed. You could dress up or dress casually and feel right at home. The staff nearly startled us with how quickly they knew our names. The FOOD is WONDERFUL! Did I mention that the food is just terrific?
We are such dedicated divers that we only tried one of the land adventures, the Mayan Tour, but it was great. A very worthwhile way to spend a day.
In short, worth the extra cost. Go to Hamanasi. We will go back.

We just got back from Hamanasi and can not stop thinking about it.
The beautiful beach front, the service, the food and our treehouse suite was to say the least, superb. We found to the staff to be very welcoming, helpful and friendly. From Patricia at the front desk to Joe at the bar we felt well taken care of. The wait staff were professional and the food was exquisite - far beyond what we had expected. The treehouse suite was a bit like an oasis inside an oasis with the lush surroundings and the various sounds of bird and occasional visiting lizard. Offering the use of sea kayaks and bicycles to us we were able to further explore the town of Hopkins as well as the beautiful coastline. We would highly recommend staying at Hamanasi and hope to return there ourselves when the occasion arises. Craig & Alyssa Corona

We had a wonderful time here on our honeymoon! The staff is excellent; they make a point to learn your name and tell you theirs. Management takes time to stroll around and visit with guests. The dive and snorkling tours were excellent. Our room was spacious and nice. The continental breakfasts are great. Lots of fresh fruit, the usual cereals, plus usually a hot main dish and something sweet. And lots of fresh fruit juice.

Only downside is that if you're looking for a wide expanse of beach to lay on, the one here was a little short and steep. But the resort provides adirondack chairs and lounge chairs to use. Plus they have a nice pool.

We stayed in a honeymoon suite, but I think they get so many honeymooners that basically all of the units are "honeymoon suites." Based on what our married friends told us their honeymoon experiences were like (not here, just in general), I guess I expected a little more hoopla for us, like maybe free champagne on the first night. Although our turndown service on the first night included flowers on the bed and in the bathroom, which was nice. So I think if you want something special, just request it. They were great to work with us on anything we asked them for.

Overall, it was a fantastic trip in a beautiful paradise! I would love to go back.
