I just returned from a 4 day, 3 night stay at the Lebeha Cabanas. I am currently a Peace Corps Volunteer in Belize for the next 2 years, and was joined by 9 other Peace Corps Volunteers from around the country. The entire time was perfect. We were there during Garifuna Settlement Day, and Jabbar had his young drumming students on the beach playing for us, as well as on the boat with us drumming as some of us were invited to be guests on the boat as part of the Settlement Day reenactment. Additionally, I appreciated the great weather and full moon that they requested for our visit. Dorothy and Jabbar went out of their way to make our R&R incredible. I will definitely be back during my service here, and will most likely be bringing friends and family to join me.
