We stumbled across this little bakery on our 2nd day in the resort and proceeded to visit on 5 or 6 more occasions! Frankie and Lau Mee are so warm and welcoming, the premises is spotlessly clean and the range of bakery goods is very good. The simple but tasty menu consists of sandwiches, toasties, cakes, pastries and cheesecakes. Batu Ferringhi has lots of restaurants offering a wide range of local food but sometimes you really just want a hearty sandwich!! The wholemeal bread served and sold here is preservative free and is the freshest and tastiest I have ever had. The cheesecakes are gorgeous and the egg custard tart is a must try! The cafe is air conditioned and the cans of soft drinks are refreshingly cool. The food is delicious and wholesome (highly recommend the chicken salad sandwich) but the real stars are the owners. Frankie and Lau Mee have created a warm and inviting environment and work tirelessly 6 days a week to offer this little hidden gem!
