This beach is by far the most popular in the west coast of Malaysia. I went here with a group of friends and saw that the beach was clean ( at the time I was there ) and it was a pretty sight. People from all over the world come here and the best place to stay is at The Rasa Sayang. There are other good hotels nearby too.
It may be expensive for the locals but it is worth the stay. I have customers telling me it is a beautiful hotel and that is worth the price they pay. To taste authentic Penang food, you have to get into Georgetown and eat at one of the stalls there.
One famous dish is the Penang Char Kway Teow ( fried thick noodles ). Penang Laska is another dish you must try when in Penang.
Laze around in the beach as the waters are warm. The weather is warm to hot throughout the year except for the rainy season - which can be any time these past few years ( climate change? ). Buy your souvenirs in town as they are more expensive at hotels.
A good place to relax with your loved ones.
