“Good food”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed October 8, 2013

We ate here just once during our short trip and we were not disappointed. We ordered three dishes, two beers, one cider and a sprite and the it came to 103RM. The salt and pepper squid was so good. The owners are very helpful and took the time to explain the dishes on the menu.

“Too salty”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed October 8, 2013

I found this to be reasonably priced for tourist (but not good value by local standards), I noticed some of the local dishes (after some real local eating) it was more than doubled. Food were served pretty fast but found it to be quite salty (I had the Fish Curry Kapitan and green veggies). Will try the stalls in Long Beach and hope to find better food.

“Fantastic food and hosts”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 6, 2013

We went to this restaurant based on the reviews on tripadvisor and loved it so much that we went back four times during our 10 day stay.
Amy and Ben are great hosts and take the time to sit down and chat with their guests, we were treated to some great music with Ben and some of his mates on the saturday night, it made for a great atmosphere in the restaurant.
The food is delicious, we tried many dishes including the beef rendang, thai fish, lemon fish, fried rice, pork ribs, satay, spring rolls, kapitan curry, salt and pepper squid and the deep fried icecream is to die for.
Well done Amy and Ben we loved your restaurant, may you keep doing what you do best for a long time to come.

“Reviews are True - but beware if you are tall!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 5, 2013 via mobile

We ate here on our last night as it had so many great reviews onTtrip Adviser. We were greeted by Amy and once seated, we asked her which curries we should order. She recommended the Beef Rendang and the Chicken Kapitan, and we were not disappointed with her recommendation. The curries were SENSATIONAL. The staff are very attentive and the overall feel of the place is inviting.
The only downside - which was not a reflection of the service or the quality of the food, was the cleverly converted old sewing machine benches into tables. Because of the frames, they leave very little leg room for tall people, so choose your table carefully. There are plenty of other tables to sit at that will be far more comfortable if you are tall. Will definitely come back here next time!

Had tried a couple along this strip and found them good. This was very good too. Great service, great grub, decent portions and great prices. Great recommendation and will definitely return.
