If you are looking at this resort and comparing it to other resorts in Dubai then stop! This is the only resort like it for location, service and value for money.
We stayed in Suite 17 for 9 nights in August, from the moment we arrived until the moment we had to sadly leave everything was excellent!
The rooms are very spacious and are cleaned to a high standard daily with a turn down service each night. In the rooms you are supplied with a Nespresso coffee machine and tea making facilities, you are also provided with complimentary water daily. Having your own private pool is lovely especially since we stayed in the hotter time of the year. The Gazelles and Oryx wonder around the resort which is amazing to see up close.
All meals were fantastic and the Chef catered for our every need, we opted for lunch around our pool. When ordering they advise that it will take 45 minutes for it to arrive as it is freshly prepared for you. The only problem you will experience with the food at this resort is what to try next as the Chef as put together a tasty menu with some unbelievable Chef’s Specials!
The activities were great, the camel ride is a must! The Field Guides are very knowledgeable and were happy to answer any questions we had during the activities.
The General Manager Arne Silvis is very intersted in meeting guests and getting your feedback, we spoke with him on several occasions during our stay which was a lovely touch and makes you feel welcome and a part of the Al Maha family.
The spa is a fantastic place to chill out and relax out of the hot sun, the sauna, steam room and plunge pool are all complimentary and no need to pre-book. They offer a wide range of treatment if you wish to spoil yourself.
Getting around the resort is very easy, if you do not wish to walk then a simply phone call to reception for a buggy that will arrive in minutes will get you to where you need to go.
Overall all the staff at the Al Maha from Guest Services to the Chef/Kitchen staff to the waiting staff to housekeeping to the Field Guides each one makes this a special and memorable place to visit. A big thank you from the Black family for making our holiday special!
Definitely on the ‘must go back to’ holiday list
