My partner and I booked The Havannah for our honeymoon after being married in Byron Bay, Australia. Neither of us had been to Vanuatu before so we booked The Havannah not only because we loved the reviews and pictures but also because it is an adults only resort. When we arrived, we were greeted my Marika and then Veronica and they both made us feel so welcome. We had such an amazing time the entire week and certainly did not want to leave. There are quite a lot of activities, but it is just as great relaxing by the pool or on the beach. The managers, Frederique and Veronica, were always available and would make it a point to stop and ask you how your stay was going. And the staff....I cannot say enough about the staff. Every single person was always happy to see you and always greeted you with a very warm smile. They got to know us by name and this made it even more special. Julie in the restaurant was especially pleasant and wonderfully nice! We really did enjoy every single thing about this stay and trip. There are only two things we would mention as improvements: 1) Since we had booked the romantic package and dinner on the glass bottom jetty, it would have been nice to know that the glass bottom was broken and could not support a dinner table. However, the staff were very accommodating and put a dinner table on our private deck so we could eat in front of our own villa. 2) It would be nice to have a few more fish options on the dinner menu since there really aren't any other restaurants nearby.
From Frederique, Veronica, Marika, Julie and the rest of the staff, everyone was so welcoming and accommodating and would seriously do just about anything you asked. It would be nice to have some sort of communication between the pool and the bar so if you're in the pool, you can order additional drinks without making trips to the bar. Lazy but that's the point of a vacation! Still wonderful as the staff realized we liked drinks regularly and checked on us at the pool fairly often...that's how in tune they are!
Probably the most private villa is 17 as it only has one villa next to it. However, it does not get...

Thank you for your review, your kind comments and your suggestions. It was our pleasure to make sure you had a great honeymoon and we hope it will not be long before we see you both at the Havannah. With regards to your comments on fish, this is one of the hardest fresh food item to get here as the fishermen only go fishing when they need money which tend to coincide with school fees time. We are contemplating buying a boat and hiring a full time fisherman to assist with getting a constant supply, and with the pool service, I do expect to have a telephone set up by December, in line with my communication upgrade and in the meantime we will continue to monitor the pool to ensure our guests do not die of thirst. My team and I wish you both all the best and we look forward to welcoming you back at the Havannah
