“great comfort”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 11, 2014

After a very harrowing day is was great to find a great motel. After spending the same amount of money on a motel room in Wyong, this motel was 300% better. Better facilities and more accommodating staff. Would recommend a great stay.

Room Tip: Would recommend for a great stay

Our youngest daughter stated for a week whilst on a nursing placement. Clean motel, excellent facilities and very kind, caring owners. More than willing to assist. Know all the local amenities and were very helpful. Thank you.

4 of 5 stars Reviewed October 3, 2013

I arrived here mid afternoon and in typical motel fashion was in my room a couple of minutes later.

The motel has about 10 rooms ('units') on the ground floor then about another 12 in a two storey building at right angles. I was in one of the former.

The room was very spacious. Unusually for an Australian motel, it had a two seater blue patterned couch along with a small round table and two chairs. There was a modern (Chinese?) Hi-Sense television along with another chair next to the lengthy 'desk.'

Lighting comprised one overhead light together with another near the 'desk' and two bedside lamps. It initially struck me as a bit dull but proved acceptable.

Again in an untypical Australian feature, there was a microwave equipped kitchenette that had two large and two small plates plus two bowls and a small amount of crockery.

There was a good and very clean bar fridge with the usual tea and coffee plus two mini packets of sweet biscuits.

The bathroom was a bit dated with a small amount of cracking evident on the shower tiles. The shower had two taps and while the water was hot, it came out in little bursts at times (perhaps indicative of its supply's age). Mini bottles of shampoo and conditioner along with the usual small soap bar was provided, while the white towels were fresh and clean.

The bed was comfortable and had a top sheet, which I far prefer to a doona. I slept quite well. There was an alarm clock which unlike some was simple to operate.

The curtains could have blocked out the light more but they were just acceptable.

Take away food is a 200 to 300 metre walk away while there are two supermarkets opposite but my favourite, the IGA was 250 metres away and had what I required.

All in all this was a well run motel for the single tariff of A$95 without breakfast, with almost every unit occupied on the weeknight I was there.

I had a one night stay in this Motel on my way home from Adelaide. The room was very spacious (room 11) and was located at the back so away from any road noise. I didn't hear anything at all during the night or during my stay. Very clean, well appointed and overall a great place to stay. I would even have been tempted to use the pool and spa (which for this time of the year were very clean and ready for use) if it hadn't been so chilly! Highly recommend

After looking at Shepparton for accommodation I decided to check Mooroopna and was I glad I did! This motel was spotlessly clean both inside and out, easy to see the owners take pride in their establishment. Bed was great, no noise and a good brekky menu which I initially decided to forego due to some not so nice brekkys at other establishments. I changed my mind later and was pleasantly surprised with it. It was very tasty and not expensive like some places. Good decision! If you are in the area definitely check out this friendly motel, you'll love it.
