“Felt a million miles away!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 10, 2012

We only stayed for two nights but wish we could have stayed longer. We took our 2 young kids and had a fabulous time. All the cottages are very private, surrounded by bush. Waking up to Kangaroos each morning on our doorstep and patting the horses in a nearby paddock was a highlight for the kids. Sitting by the fire, enjoying some fine wine in our well appointed cottage was just what we needed. The owners Jane & Dominic were very friendly and welcoming. There are some great wineries nearby. Perfect for couples, family or groups....We will definately be back...

We stayed here for 3 nights, and it was absolutely magical. The cabins were amazingly well appointed, cosy and private, and Dominic and Jane were the perfect hosts. A little wine and the outdoor spa was a beautiful way to spend the twilight. We'll definately go again.

We didnt want to stay in your typical hotel/motel. We wanted a secluded, relaxed and private atmosphere. Jane & Dominic are very friendly and the cabins are great. You have your private spa on the balcony that is very private and only approx. 5-10 min from some awesome wineries and restaurants. We will def. be coming back. Thank you

Room Tip: our room had 2 bedrooms one upstairs and one down. 2 x king size beds. 2 bathrooms one with a bath t...

We stayed here for 2 nights for our anniversary and it was just perfect! The cabin/cottage was equipped with all your needs and was more than accomodating. Its amazing location was exactly what we needed for our romantic escape, with nothing but nature surrounding you, you feel at ease and so at peace. You can choose to hideaway for your entire stay or even visit the local wineries and sample cheeses - they are all near each other without being in the middle of it all!
The fireplace added that cosy touch and the jacuzzi was so much fun as we got to gaze at the bright stars whilst sipping on champagne!
The bedding was also great! With an option to sleep upstairs or down - I would highly recommend this place to anyone! We would definately come back again and opt for a longer stay! Only disappointment we had was that we had to leave!

We have just finished a blissful two nights at these cabins. It was so much better than I anticipated – usually the pictures on websites look better than the real thing, however I think it was the opposite in this case. From the moment we walked in, it was super clean and cosy, it felt like walking into my own home. The music was playing and the bottle of port with the two glasses and welcome letter was an amazing touch – thank you. We really made the most of the hot tub, putting our swimmers on as soon as it got dark and enjoying the clear winter sky with the bright stars…
The location of the cabins was just perfect, it was like being in your own private wilderness. I even bought my yoga mat and did some morning yoga outside to the sounds of the birds – it was just magical…
These cabins are such a warm and welcoming place…we cant wait to come back

We stayed here for three nights from 15 August 2012. The king size beds were a great feature and they were comfortable as well. The blinds kept out the early morning light allowing for a little sleep in if required. The provisions were plentiful - great bacon, eggs, sweet tomatoes, toasting bread, butter jam and other essentials such as oil and flour, salt and pepper and balsalmic + other essentials. Our adult daughter was with us and used the breadmaker daily so we had fresh baked bread to wake up to. While there are four cottages, they are a distance from each other. Day or night, we couldn't see another cottage, not even their lights. We found the cottage very comfortable. When we had trouble turning on the oven (our fault), Jane was there in a flash. A really relaxing few days that could easily have been extended.

Stayed at Manzanilla Ridge for 2 nights would highly recommend it. Hosts Jane and Dominic were lovely. Cabin was adorable. When we arrived classical music was playing, lights were on decanter of port on the table, breakfast hamper in fridge, candles, it was lovely. Would definitely recommend it. We will definitely be back.
