Dream was an okay hotel. It is newer so with that in mind there was nothing broken or worn but on the other hand it had a sterile feeling to it. The whole place just felt a little cramped. The grounds were kept impeccably clean and the pool was spotless and gets pretty deep. Virginie at Recepcion was very pleasant to deal with.
I liked the views of the ocean from the second story room, they were something else. It was relaxing to sit on the porch and enjoy the sights and sounds. I liked the spacious bathroom and the attention to detail in the room and on the porch. I liked that the room lights, fan and AC could be controlled from the bed.
It would be nice to have a table in the room to put luggage on, rather than the floor. The jacuzzi was locked off and presumably not in service. The beach chairs have no padding on them which can make them uncomfortable. The hotel can be a little loud depending on what other guests are there. There aren't many mature palms. There is no restaurant/cafe there so you get vouchers for breakfast to your choice of three nearby places. At El Jardin (Los Mapaches) I had the worst breakfast on the island that morning that consisted of one small cup of coffee, one cup of juice and two minuscule cheese quesadillas. It wasn't even worth the time walking over there and waiting around for that.
I do think the hotel has a lot of potential and perhaps they will continue improving it.
