“Business & Pleasure”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 5, 2011

We needed a quiet place for a business meeting & mostly a place close to fishing the Fraser. It is simply a "world class" B & B. The lodge itself looks new and the attention to detail & design is everywhere .... the bedrooms, bathrooms, main living area & kitchen you'll find nothing but the best. The owner was so pleasant & informative.
From your "not" so "key" guy!

Room Tip: Beautiful honeymoon suite with jacuzzi tub & a patio deck

Twas a pleasure to stay in this unique setting & feel the peace of the country alongside, the water and mountains. The hostess - what an epicurean delight she prepared each day that will not disappoint those with a discerning taste. Certainly the right way to start the day.
We felt most welcome no matter if we ambled back for a mid day snooze!
Nestled amongst mountain greenery, the Fraser river valley explodes with many a task to temp each and every heart.

We have stayed in MANY B&B,s and this is #1 to us...we can hardly wait to go back again. The owners are very welcoming, friendly and accommodating and made us feel right at home. The location, rooms and all pictures are just as you see them...even nicer. Breakfast is excellent and we were very spoilt, even had fresh Blackberries:) We love dogs, so they let us share their dogs. Thanks and look forward to seeing you again...Diane and Gary

Room Tip: Thaye are all beautiful rooms...we liked the Bamboo Room because it was on the main floor.

We spent 2 nights here and had a great time from the time we arrived until we left. The hosts were more than willing to help us with any requests. They were friendly but gave us lots of space to enjoy our experience. The breakfast was great and very plentiful with that delicious coffee. We sat on the balcony each morning for breakfast and enjoyed seeing heron fly over. The last day we were there we saw a bear with the use of a spotted scope. The lodge is very nicely decorated , the beds are comphy. I enjoyed the electric massage chair . They have a small canoe that we took up the dyke where we spotted many more heron (10 ) in total. It is so peaceful and quiet. There is lots to do in near by Harrison which is very close. We also enjoyed the farm circle tour. The host took a photo of us and emailed it to us for when we returned home. We loved it.......

We stayed here for 3 nights in August for a fishing trip. Large upstairs bedroom with balcony is great -- private patio and large tub. Lodge was very clean and had great character (owner built). Breakfasts were excellent. Lodge also packed us a bagged lunch for our fishing trip. Owners take great pride in the lodge and taking care of guests...would highly recommend.

I enjoyed the fact that this BnB was tucked away in a quiet little corner of Agassiz along the Fraser River! It was the most beautiful lodge I had ever seen and the hospitality was even better! We arrived and right away we were warmly greeted by our amazing host Tricia. We had a tour of the lodge and we were asked what we would prefer for breakfast! Our room was amazing and very spacious! The view of the river was an incredible sight to see! Very peaceful and calm! Our breakfast the next morning was nothing short of INCREDIBLE and the coffee was amazing! Needless to say, I would not hesitate to go back if I ever needed time away from the city! Thanks for an awesome night! Tyler

We saw this online and booked the Cheam suite because of how it looked. We were not disappointed. We had access to the whole lodge, and out hostess really made us feel at home. Our suite was private, and had an in room fridge, and coffee maker, so we could have coffee at our leisure. We were provided flowers and champagne as well, which was a nice surprise.
Our breakfast the first morning was a west coast eggs benedict, which was a taste sensation, and it was done to our time preference. The next morning it was strawberry waffles, and again a delight! Good quality coffee was served as well.
This lodge is situated in a quiet place in a delightful setting, and I will recommend it highly to anyone.
Our hosts really made it their business to make sure we were happy, and gave us tips on good places to eat and visit too.
We will come back!
