“Gets the job done”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed February 2, 2014

Did an overnight stay in the Greenhead Motel while doing a survey in late January. The weather was cold (-20 C) but the second floor room was warm and cozy. The room appeared to have been recently refurbished, with new furniture and appliances. Located at the back of the hotel (I had to climb a set of stairs inside and cross an outside deck to get to get to my door), the room was quiet. The outside stairs leading down to the parking lot were showing their age, however, and although I’m sure they’re safe, the fact that the back of the hotel is not well lit makes them a bit challenging to navigate after dark. Breakfast at the hotel restaurant is included in the room price and the sausages and eggs were a good start to a cold day. Front desk and restaurant staff were friendly. Overall, nothing fancy, but a good stop for workers or hunters, and reasonably priced at around $90/night with tax.

Room Tip: Don't order the chicken wings in the downstairs sports bar. I'm sure the rest of the menu is...

Location is perfect right on hwy 13 staff is very friendly and the food is vey good. The down side is the hotel is very old and the rooms are as good as they get for an old hotel. Little pricey at 88 per night but you do get a free breakfast and remember the food is good.

Stayed here for a week for work purposes.Room was clean, staff was friendly, hot breakfast was included in the price of the room, which was reasonable. The property itself is getting a little dated but that is of no concern really. The service and the quality of the food more than make up for it.

4 of 5 stars Reviewed July 23, 2012

Stayed here over night in 26+ degree weather. When we arrived in the room, the air conditioning was on and it was nice and cool.
Big room with two double beds, lots of storage space and a nice new flat screen tv. The room was clean and decent.
If you are going to stay here, I would HIGHLY recommend staying on the second floor. We stayed on the ground floor and the noise from above was horrible!
Also, make sure to take advantage of the free breakfast they serve until 11am. It was excellent!! All of our eggs were cooked to perfection. Super impressed with the meal......made up for any shortcomings the room may have had.
