Sam's Inn in St. Andrew's Grenada is a wonderful hotel. While it is not your average "resort" on a Caribbean island, it really let my family and I enjoy the "Grenada life" in the community without all the fancy 'US like' hotel accommodations...

We have been to Sam's twice, once in 2006 and once in 2007. the first time we stayed in the hotel part and loved the balcony view. The second time we ended up staying in the large apartment they offer (this was around cricket world cup time) and it was lovely.

We met the owners (Gordon and his wife) and they did everything they could to ensure we were comfortable, and even took my wife down to the market on Saturday morning for some shopping.

We were not aware of this before, but they have a website now that you can call and book rooms if you are visiting, or look at what is around. everything is close by, especially to Grenville (where I was working - the reason going to Grenada)

I would give Sam's Inn 4 out of 5 stars. My family loved it, the staff were amazing... we will stay at Sam's for all future trips to Grenada!
