“A great place to stay in the city”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 25, 2013

I've stayed in three different places in three trips to Grenada-- each wonderful in their own way. the first two were outside of St. Georges, which was my "base of operations" as a missionary. On my last trip, I discovered Deyna's City Inn, and for my purposes, I discovered the perfect place to stay. If you are wanting peace and quiet, be warned: Deyna's is located on a busy street, and things don't get quiet at night until around 10. But, it you are looking for an exciting place to launch out from that is comfortable, cool, clean and filled with friendly staff, then Deyna's is THE place for you. The bus station is located right across the street, as well as a grocery store. A mall is right down the road; so is the fort. Deyna herself was a wonderful hostess, kind in every way. Her employees, from the desk manager to the young ladies who cleaned the rooms, were top notch. I highly recommend Deyna's City Inn and her adjoining business, Deyna's Tasty Treats.

If you want to experience grenada like a local stay here. Close to transportation, great breakfast experience, very nice rooms and helpful and smiling staff that addresses you by name. Also close to grocery. Loved my week long.

Deyna's is less than 10 mins walk from the Carenage, right across the street from the bus/maxitaxi station, so it's very convenient to get around the island from there, and the receptionist will be able to tell you which bus to take if you're unsure. The breakfast is served downstairs at Deyna's Tasty Foods, popular with local people, I liked it a lot. As a vegetarian I skipped the fishcakes and sausages and got nice warm bread, puffy mini rotis, butter & fruit/nutmeg jam, some mixed salad, fruit and coffee. The room itself was clean, cosy, and the aircon did its job perfectly. There is quite a lot of stairs to climb. From the balcony (shared) you get a view towards the cruise ship harbour. Would stay again!

There are a lot of stairs, but don't let that put you off! The staff are friendly & helpful in regards to my queries on travel arrangements, & the breakfast ladies' smiles were a great start to the day along with the food! A good location being right across the road from the bus station, it was a bit noisy as I was in a front room, but had a great view of the ocean to compensate! The mall & shops are just down the stairs & everywhere is easy enough to walk to. Theres also a supermarket just across the road & an internet cafe round the corner.
Would recommend & stay there again!

I stayed a couple of nights here, and the service was excellent from start to finish. I arrived late, without my luggage (courtesy of LIAT), and they were accommodating. I got a rather nice and clean room with a large bed. Very helpful staff directed me around the island, the neighbouring islands and the city.

The location is great for explring the city, which is rather small anyway, so that you can easily walk everywhere, provided you can bear the climbing the steep hills. I'd recommend it to other travellers, and stay again upon my return.

Having read good reviews on the internet, I opted for this place in St. George, Grenada. Late check-in was no problem. Very helpful and accommodating staff. Perfect location smack in the centre of town near the bus-station and opposite a supermarket were one can by food and beverages. This is also the place to eat in town if you want to mix with the locals. Great atmosphere and very affordable.

I can certainly recommend this place to other travelers..

This is a simple Inn in the middle of St George's. It is directly opposite the main bus terminal which is great for exploring the other parts of the island. The rooms are large and very clean but with slightly dated fixtures. The included breakfast was really nice. The only issue was that the shower pressure was low. One plus is that there is a supermarket across the road which has a restaurant and bar on top where they have karaoke.

Room Tip: Rooms at the rear are quieter.
