“The beautiful valley”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed March 29, 2014

walk it, cycle it or ride it on horseback just spend a few quality hours enjoying the spectacular views and tranquility of the valley. The rocks (moglotes) are amazing and the whole place has an air of paradise.

“Beautiful, friendly area to visit”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 28, 2014

As a World Heritage site Vinales is a great place to visit away from the hustle bustle of Havana and like stepping back in time with oxen ploughing the fields and everyone happy to help each other.
The mogotes make the scenery different and very attractive and sitting having a drink by the plaza in town watching the World go by is a must. I recommend visiting a tobacco farm on foot or horseback even if you don't smoke and defiitely try the coco loco, a mix of coconut milk, honey and rum served in the shell. It's easy to hire bikes in town and meander out into the countryside watching rural life. It's also well worth going on a guided walk to Los Aquaticos, a bit of a climb, but the views are great.

Had 6 nights in cuba so did a day tour to Vinales with limited time it was very worthwhile about $60US /we had Bilingual guide/we visited Habano cigar factory/we visited Los Jazmines look out post at vinales valley.we visited Cueva del Indio and into a cave by boat with stop over at Dos Hermanas Valley ...it also included Lunch but lunch was quite basic ...but a great enjoyable day
This is a great way to see Vsinales if you are time short.....If longer came across a few small towns which would be very nice to stay

“such a lovely place”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 12, 2014

I love Vinales Valley It is such a special place It's tiny but very unique with lots of great casas particulares to choose from and lots of thing to do We went horse riding to the cigar farm where they showed us how to make proper organic cigar(you can buy them as well) Also the guy took us around the Valley which is gorgeous
Another trips are to the Cayo Levisa and Cayo Jutias They are both over an hour away by bus(you have to also get a boat to Cayo Levisa) but it's well worth as both of those beaches are stunning(Want to get married in Cayo Levisa:))))
so all together Vinales is a small place but you can easily stay there for a week(we did) and just enjoy the tranquility of this special place!!

“Back to the 50:s”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 6, 2014

Valle de Vinales is not only one of the most beautiful places in the world. It is a trip back to the good sides of life in the 1950:s. Every morning I woke up of the sounds of horses. First came the bread horse, with bread form my breakfast. Then came the pineapple horse with fruit for my breakfast. Then I took my book out to the rocking chair on the front porch, but I forgot the book and spend my time watching the easy daily life in Vinales. When my rented car had a flat tire my landlady called for an old man at the corner, barefooted with a grey suit. He took the tire and came back a couple of hours and wanted 10 dollars. The tire lasted at least the rocky road along the coast back to Havanna. The beach north of Vinales was nice, but the snorkling not so fantastic.
