Basic room, needs tiding up a bit, allows dogs in room and also bar, would stay again, Rhyl has gone a bit depressed, shame for the hotels, very friendly staff good breakfast, beautiful beach front, shame that the funfair has gone,

It was either this place at £22 per night or a hostel at £18. No brainer really , who wants to sleep in a dorm with a load of strangers. Yes, the morville came out as the cheapest hotel in Wales on the day I wanted it, so , I thought, give it a spin.
It's very good for the money, it's not the radisson, but if you want the radisson, go there and pay the going price. What I'm saying is , you get what you pay for, and using that adage, morville gives you a good deal for the cost.
Room was sea facing, tidy little room, dated, but well presented. Tv, wardrobe, wash basin, bed, kettle and tea and coffee. No shower or toilet (that's another few quid) toilets are on the landing, as is the bathroom, close by.
Lady at reception is friendly and helpful. There is a pub down stairs for your early evening drinks.
Breakfast was enjoyable and satisfying, so no probs there.
All in all, an older style hotel, which is as cheap as chips and great value for money. Can recommend for a budget stay, and yes, I would definitely stay there again.

I went here with an open mind after reading the reviews, quite prepared to give it a chance. It's in an excellent location overlooking the seafront and events arena, and close to the market and main shopping area. But that's sadly where the good stuff ends... This is the biggest doss house and meeting place for social outcasts that I've ever seen in over 30 years of travelling. The whole place looks like it hasn't had a penny spent on it in 30+ years, it's falling to bits and rotten to the core from the inside to out. It's dirty, smelly, and in dire need of extensive repairs or complete renovation. The staff ranged from mildly friendly to not interested to openly tearse, wasn't greeted with a smile or a welcome, just a give us the money and find your own room, and left to the sight of the back of a head without even a goodbye.

That's as kind as I can be I'm afraid. Won't be going back, it's certainly no frills... It's actually no anything, and falling down from the inside. The breakfast was good on day one but on day two it was overcooked and swimming in fat, didn't bother on day 3. On leaving I gave the room key to a young lady and thanked her for having me, but she just took the key and walked away.

This place is a disgusting falling down ramshakle hovel that needs closing down. On a nice night, I think sleeping on the beach would be the better option.

Room Tip: A nice bottle of vodka, or another hotel.

Don't stay here!!

Overpowering bad smell throughout. Very dated and in need of major refurb. worn sticky carpets and dusty - décor from the 70's.

We stayed in room 43 -which was very dull and tired décor wise - it was relatively clean, but no towels, kettle didn't work, shower ran hot and cold. Sea view if you could see through the grimy window (inside and out).

The room had holes in the walls, obscure wires running up the walls, and a wired glass panel so that the passage light was constantly visible. the bathroom fan rattled like an aeroplane when light was switched on.

The breakfast was actually pretty good and the Lady who seemed to do everything from reception to bar tender to waitress was trying her best and was very pleasant.

I could not have spent more than 1 night here.

Its a shame as this is a large sea-front hotel that has so much potential if it fell into the right hands.

Not the most luxurious hotel that I've stayed in but reasonably clean and strictly "no frills" There was a tv and tea/coffee making facilities and the bed was comfortabe.
Excellent views from the front bedrooms - overlook the events arena and the bowling green.
Full english breakfast was excellent.
Price reasonable for bank holiday weekend and hotel location

a few weeks ago we booked to stay at this hotel, because it sounded good, big mistake, when we got there the stairs out side looked dirty, and the room was not good, no heating only 1 light in the whole room, a little shower not much room. As we went to breakfast the banister felt loose, the breakfast was ok, but the parking was about a mile from the hotel, also we were told that we had a room with a sea view, no chance we were at the back of the hotel, with noisy sea gulls out side, we were all disappointed, and we would never go to this hotel again, I had read some trip advisor reviews and we thought the hotel had been tided up a little, no chance, even dad went to see the receptionist, she was not very nice

Room Tip: don't book here
