We visited The Queen's Head for dinner during our short break on the advice of John and Frances at The Old Vicarage. What a recommendation! The views from the garden are stunning (use the garden entrance rather than the farm entrance).
The range of real ales is good as well as the usual lagers and bitters. The house wines are well chosen and all the wines are very reasonably priced by glass and bottle.
The food is quite amazing and perfectly priced - so much so that we had dinner at The Queen's Head a second time during our break. I recommend the sirloin steak, the sea bass (all the fish is freshly caught locally) and the sticky toffee pudding with ice cream and cream.
A very welcoming atmosphere with an eclectic mix of locals!
