This is a modern hotel built to appear ancient so you have the best of both worlds. The bespoke furniture in each room and high quality wooden windows and shutters are complimented by good sized modern bathrooms, and decent airconditioning (which I didn't use as I had my french doors wide open and a nice breeze.
There is a nice if strangely yard-like garden but no restaurant and NO TEA / COFFEE facilities in the room. I had a nice balcony which allowed me to enjoy the live music in the concert in the bullring and the church bells.
Chinchon is basically a bullring with some cafes and shops surrounding it! They run the bulls through the streets to the ring when there is a fiesta so you will park with difficulty. I had misunderstanding over car-parking as initially the receptionist said my car was too big to get in their car park. The someone asked me to move it from where it was. Then after parking it where they advised I was woken by the next receptionist to move it again to which I told them to go forth and multiply. That misunderstanding apart I really enjoyed Chinchon and it makes a nice alternative stop to Madrid or Toledo if you are top to toeing Spain.
To make up for not having a restaurant they gave me a 10% voucher for a delightful restaurant on the periphery of the Bullring and I had a great dinner there but left in the morning without breakfast and stopped on the way. A little annoying but I'll still stay there again.
