We've known this restaurant for years and always loved it. It used to be more "down to earth", they now want to be on the luxurious side. At least, that's what it appeared to us.
Well, it was a total disappointment. We were there during Xmas and the weather was wonderful so we sat outside. Quite run down there. But we can live with that if service and food is good. It wasn't...We had the boquerones (little very dry sardines with a quarter lemon that from its appearance was 3 weeks old), the grilled vegetables (a plate with a total of exactly 8 slices of bell pepper, zucchini, eggplant and 6 onion rings) and the aioli. The price for it all? 30 EUR!!! It was the worst meal of my life. The restaurant was empty, except for us and another party of 3.
I tend to say, well, it was Xmas and the business slow. Well, then, you know what? Either close during winter time or reduce your menu offer so that whatever you offer is really fresh. You should have seen the display of "fresh" fish at the entrance. I guess those were some days old too.
My conclusion: never again. What a pity!
