“Beautiful classic villa style hotel”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 26, 2013

Set on a hillside just a block from the main piazza( square) in Asolo. Large pool and patio judt below the hotel with lovely view of the valley below and the hills beyond. Breathtaking.
Gardens are beautiful with outdoor restaurant seating for summer.
Loved the bar with English hunting theme! and leather chairs.
Rooms are lovely, with classic decor, and bathrooms are modern. There is a parking lot across the street which is essential as the streets do not allow parking : best to reserve ahead.
This is a perfect honeymoon place and has been known to host celebrities as well.
Dinner in the restaurant was great, and breakfast very good.
Staff were very friendly and helpful with maps and directions when it came time to depart.

Room Tip: Many rooms have corners with views of several valleys or sides.

Because I booked this hotel so far in advance (nearly a year), we were given a free upgrade to a junior suite when we arrived. The views from every window were simply magnificent: the gorgeous valley, rolling hills, vineyards and farms. Just incredible. The staff here were helpful and friendly. We ate two dinners and a lunch at the restaurant and every bite was pure ambrosia. You can sit in the garden, have a glass of wine and take in the amazing scenery surrounded by flowers, shrubs and pomegranate trees. Beautiful. The breakfast is ok, fruit and pastries, but you can pay extra and have eggs or other hot meals if you like.

I value my travel dollar and this was money well spent. I would underscore all other positive reviews and add that pictures do not do this place justice. The villa is gorgeous, beautifully decorated and detailed as no modern place can be. But make no mistake, it is incredibly elegant. The rooms are large, comfortable, with good mattresses and pillow. My room looked out onto a mature persimmon tree ripe with fall fruit, the garden below, and the olive and vineyarded hills falling away to the Venetian plain. The staff was gracious but not unctuous--Camelo especially, at the front desk, exuded an infectious joie de vivre that would ensure all's right in the world. The gentleman who ported our luggage and parked our car, come to think of it, was no less charming. The garden is delicious, resplendent with the aforementioned persimmon, climbing roses, tea roses, olive trees, dogwoods, and the like. The crowd appeared to be about 60% Italian this time of year, the rest equally mixed other Europeans and Americans and the town not overly touristed in the least.

Wonderful--outstanding. Pick your adjective. We had a ball starting our trip to Italy there.. Spent three nights. The town is small and delightful. So is the hotel. Great service. Perfect room. Food very good.

A wonderful hotel, with a beautiful garden and a magnificent view. The staff handled our large group's check in with grace and humor, and they continued to be charming and helpful during the remainder of our stay. The rooms were large and very well appointed, and the pool was heaven. We had two excellent meals in the hotel restaurant. A short walk took us into the central piazza of the small town of Asolo, where there were nice shops and restaurants. It was a pleasure to stay in such a beautiful hotel with friendly staff.

While it has been a while since we had the pleasure of staying at Villa Cipriani, it is a visit we will never forget. From reception, service, the room, the restaurant, the beautiful grounds, Villa Cipriani is a unique and extraordinary hotel. An oasis, seemingly safe from the chaos of the world we live in, this is a place with a strong link to the old world level of service, special treatment for all vistors, as if we were all kings and queens. The restaurant is special, serviing extraordinary meals, well prepared, served with an extensive wine list. I can't think of a place we've been in this world, that can exceed the extraordinary ambiance of Villa Cipriani. If you go, book a couple extra days, just because. You will never regret it.

Room Tip: Rooms overlooking the valley to the west and southwest are wonderful. The view is breathtaking and...

This property is a little oasis in a small town that begs you to relax. Our room was fairly large overlooking the garden and valley. The room, which was very comfortable, did not have access to an elevator so you might need some help with heavy luggage. The grounds and garden are very nicely situated and very pretty with comfortable seating and views everywhere. The property is situated very near the central piazza where you can find small shops, services and restaurants. The hotel has its own restaurant, which we enjoyed, with an extensive wine list and surprisingly varied menu and would definitely recommend. The hotel also features a wonderful infinity edge pool area, spa and fitness area. We stayed here two days but should have booked more.

Room Tip: Get a room overlooking the garden area and/or valley.
