“Favorite in Italy”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 18, 2013

We decided to stop here based on the great reviews we found on trip advisor while we were passing through town. Word of advice....don't put address into your Gps like we did. The restaurant is set in a little plaza and the gps will try to take you directly there which is not meant for cars! We were in Italy for two weeks and ate in many of the top restaurants but this little place was one of our favorites....such a great find! The food was delicious, the owner was wonderful and the atmosphere so cozy and cute. I hope someday I can go back!

“great food for all seasons”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 8, 2013

This cosy restaurant was a real discovery which we initially found on a cold wet January Sunday at lunch time. The place was almost full, all locals, but after tasting the delicious food we were no longer surprised. The atmosphere and eating experience is very relaxed.A member of the Slow Food Society which specialises in fresh local seasonal foods cooked with flare and attention to detail. We have since returned on a number of occasions at different times of the year and always been delighted with the food. The owner, who is very warm and welcoming,is happy to let you "try out" your Italian but has excellent English if you run into problems

“Small but great”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 30, 2012 via mobile

I recommend you to make reservation.we came today, off season and I'm glad I made reservation 3 hours before. So many people came and there was no room any more. The personality of the owner make the difference. So warm and well coming.
The food is authentic: hand made pasta, great and unique rissito ,fabulous patte with pears. All the meal include 2 starts,2 main course ,hulf litter wine ,2 cappuccino and dolce costed 49 euro. One of the best meals in Italy .

“Perfect pasta, delicious main courses, great dolci”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 26, 2012

Wish there was another circle. This place merits six dots. It was beyond excellent. We called them from our cell phone to inform them we were running a little late, and they immediately said, "non preoccuparti, Signore." (Don't worry). Our table was reserved near the kitchen. The staff watched our faces anticipating our enthusiastic approval, probably. The owner-waiter was a pleasant and efficient server who was patient with some of our quirky requests. We frequently consult the book, Osterie d'Italia and this recommendation was spot on. It was also recommended by the owners of our B and B in Chiusi, Gardino Degl'Etruschi (great place to sleep).

This was a place that made you feel welcome. We did not have a reservation but they did fit us in and the food and wine were excellent.
