Very nice and clean rooms, fantastic food, very friendly and attentive service and fantastic wine.
Perfection does exist.

One tip: take with you some products against the mosquito's, because there are a lot in Tuscany. I was well prepared and had no problems, but I saw some legs full of red dots.

Room Tip: All rooms seem good

Incredible wine, beautiful scenery and wonderful staff. You can't go wrong booking in here. Make sure you do the winery tour and take a case home as well. Antonio will go above and beyond to ensure your stay is something to remember. Great chef in the restaurant too. Some of the best food we had in Italy.

I spent 7 days at this agriturismo hotel from 20 to 27 August together with 6 family members and we all found the place quiet and charming, good food, attentive and polite/friendly staff, clean accommodation and plenty of relaxation facilities - swimming pool, jacuzzi, tennis, table tennis, etc. We all agreed that the country location, although some 3 miles from Gaiole, added to the charm of the place and we would not hesitate to return to the hotel when next we are visiting this part of Tuscany.

Room Tip: Being in the countryside and having no through road adds to the peace and tranquility. The "ho...

We stayed here for a wedding as were unable to stay for anything less than 4 nights at the wedding venue so we booked in here as it was close by. As the crow flies this place is probably only 10 mins from the Castillo Meleto where the wedding was but the long windy uneven dirt track made it not only extremely difficult to find in the first place but also a ether unnerving drive to be doing in the dark when you are not familiar with it.
There is also a sign that points down another dirt track enroute which we followed only to find it was completely incorrect. If you're staying at this place make sure you have a very good map and sat nav with you as it took us 3 hours to find it from siena.
The owner was very friendly and also accommodating when we asked for a late check out.
Room was nice, if not a bit dark but lovely and peaceful... After 4 nights in siena I had the best nights sleep here!
I would come here again but for a few days of relaxing and not really doing a lot as its not at all easy to get to so i would avoid using it as a base to explore the area.

We held our pre-wedding cocktail reception at Borgo, and we couldn't have been happier with our choice. Once you get up (and then down) the windy and somewhat treacherous roads, the views from the main garden are breathtaking: rustic, natural, with an uninterrupted view of Chianti and the beautiful vineyards that surround it. Castello di Meleto - where we were married - can be seen in the distance, and is beautiful when lit up after sunset. The staff, Antonio, Catherine and Franceso were incredibly helpful in accommodating our menu requirements, and welcoming to all of our guests. They held special wine tours for all our guests, which everyone really enjoyed. The price was very reasonable, and all of our guests - those who attended the reception, and those who stayed in the rooms - had nothing but good things to say about their stay. The restaurant could be open a little bit later, but if you're looking for a really cozy, rustic experience in Tuscany, head to Borgo! A real find.

Trully amazing place with an amazing room (Barracaia) worth every penny (private terrace, jacuzzi, air con, ...). This room is located about 200m away from the main house and the other rooms.
We had a lovely dinner at the restaurant the first night.
Staff were very welcoming and we enjoyed the wine tour.
Will definitly recommend it and hopefully go back...

I highly recommend this property to travelers. We stayed in the 3 bedroom apartment. It was spacious and comfortable. An outstanding value for the money. The property is exceptionally beautiful, nestled among the grapevines with soaring views of the surrounding hills. The food is outstanding. The chef offers a 3 course selection each night and the 3 nights we ate there were magnificent. The staff is delightful, professional, and endlessly helpful. All speak excellent English. The winery produces some top-notch Chianti Classico and the tour is informative and friendly. This location is near a smaller town, down a gravel road, but close (30-60 minutes) from numerous wineries, hill-top towns in Tuscany, and Florence.

All in all, we had a delightful, relaxing stay in one the most beautiful places on earth.
