We ate here twice during our stay, both times in the evening.
I love the setting, tucked away in an alley with the table area growing larger and larger according to the size of the custom.
Our first night, everything was great.. the wine, pizza and salads were amazing, with my first experience of what fresh prawns can taste like. More importantly the service was excellent and we left very full and happy.
Our second night was the opposite.. pizza was disappointing and the service awful. We had to ask for everything that we got without thinking on the previous visit. The 1/2 litre house red this night was served cold and we had to chase for olive oil etc. We ending up not staying for the lemonchello's that we loved and instead went around the corner to another cafe for coffee and liquor's.
I'd like to think the last visit was "just one of those nights"... as they did have a very busy group having a party there... but the disappointment from that night loses them a star.
