We chose this restaurant for a quiet Saturday lunch by the lake following others' reviews and we weren't disappointed. It's just inside the main gate to the old town and the terrace has a lovely view out over the water and a sky full of swooping swallows and swifts. The service was friendly, attentive and quick. We enjoyed a pinzimonio as a starter - raw vegetables to dip in dressing and crunch - and an unusual salad with green apples, green leaves and pine nuts. Restaurant salads in Italy can be distinctly dull - but this one definitely wasn't. Then we ordered 2 of their pasta specials - cacio pepe and a version of aglio olio peperoncino with ginger and lemon juice - both tasty. Washed down with a jug of house white and followed by coffee - 30 euro for 2. We plan to try their fish dishes next time.
