This was the first time for us to stay at this hotel, and the affordable rate was a bonus. My mistake was not calling the hotel before we arrived to ask for its location, it was just listed at Hibbard Avenue, and it's a pretty long avenue to traipse hunting for one's hotel. Still, we found it ultimately, just past Harold's Mansion, since we were walking from the Silliman Portals. The rooms are cozy and comfortable. They kept running out of towels though, must be a laundry delivery problem...but they'll lend you bathrobes instead. They had wi-fi in the rooms but only after the internet cafe in the building closed by 10pm. Hopefully in the future, they will invest in more hubs to service the guests' wifi needs during the day. There's a tiny resto on the ground floor if you need to catch breakfast before heading out on your day's adventures. But what we loved the most about this hotel was the Cebu Boneless Lechon being sold at Z's Place just across the street! We ate there most evenings and even bought some to bring home, haha! This hotel's location may be a little distant from the city center, but it's closer to Hayahay( our favorite hang-out place in the city, btw) and fare is just P9/person in the city's pedicabs anyhow. And it's still near enough to stroll home to from the boulevard and city center, especially if you need to burn some calories.
