“Clean, well managed and fun!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed February 17, 2013

The first place we visited after reaching Haridwar! The rope way ride costs Rs 102. You can also buy tickets for both Chandi Devi and Mansa Devi together for Rs 150. Its tough to believe, but the rope way is very clean and well managed with options for food and toilets at both stations. The ride takes around 5 minutes. After reaching the top of the temple, you will have to leave your shoes behind at a counter or with any of the shops. You can take a quick round of the temple, pray for your well being and take the rope way back. When we visited, it was raining heavily and the rope way was stopped for 2 hours. All of us waited at the top till service resumed. Just to note that the rope way does not work if there are heavy rains or wind. A must visit if you are visiting Haridwar!

“Nice and High”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 4, 2013

Temple is located near har ki pauri and is quite reachable. You can either reach though Gandola's or can track to the temple by your self as well.
Gandola's are quite reasonable and accessible as in summers you would not to track for 4- 5 kms.
