Lovely white sands and a very peaceful place! We were not staying here but we were just north in Bwejuu, which perhaps is counted in Paje beach. Some very nice restaurants here and spots for relaxing on sun beds. Very peaceful, especially if don't go in peak times, like we did, in November. Perfect, great weather and hardly anyone around! Of course you still get the masai's trying to sell you things from their 'pole pole' shops but I'm pretty sure the hotels and restaurants have told them that they are not to disturb people when they are eating or relaxing there. So just buy a coke in a restaurant with a sun bed and then use the bed and you are safe! I mean, they are not so bad, but after days of them asking the same questions just so they can eventually show you their things, you do get annoyed. I came to the beach to relax but they will even disturb you when you are reading. Water seems to go all the way out during the day but you can get some lovely swimming levels in the later evening and in the morning. Really the beach is great here and the sun is strong so use protection!
