“Great club for diving around Mnemba Atol”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 17, 2012

Warmly run by Susanna and the Swahili crew, Scuba Libre provided a great service (for a rather competitive price according to local standards which are pricey). We went for one trip of two dives (120 eur incl. all equipment renting) and could snorkel with dolphins on the way before the first dive thanks to the crew's flexibility.
Water and sandwiches were available between the 2 dives (45 min break) and the crew carried and prepared all the equipment for us.
Diving there was nice (we saw a shark and impressive corail rocks), with quite a bit of current / swell.
Overall a great local experience that i would definitely recommend.

“wrong dive sites!”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed April 10, 2012

The instructors were friendly and helpful, but i think they didn't take us to the right diving spots. When i went to dive in Mnemba Atoll back in 2010 i remember seeing super colorful corals and all different kinds of fish, but this time it was very dull, barely saw any big schools of fish or any unusual corals. Just saw some big rocks and a few typical fish that one sees everywhere.

“First Open Water Diving Trip”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed March 27, 2012

The instructors were helpful and experienced and we really enjoyed our first scuba dive! The Wall is stunning. We even had the privilege of some dolphins dashing past us. Magical.

The ride to Mnemba was very choppy, so even if you aren't prone to sea sickness I suggest you take a tabled before you go!
