“Great way to experience Puerto Rico”

We found the Erin Go Bragh through other reviews here on trip advisor and needless to say they were all on target. Our trip with Bill and Ingrid surpassed all expectations. We were treated like long lost friends. Ingrid and Bill ensured that everyone had a great time, from the oldest passenger (my father at 69) to the youngest (my daughter age 8). They even had homeopathic remedies for the 2 of us who felt a bit ill due to the less than normal calm seas due to the recent hurricane. They took us to 2 great spots for snorkeling, cooked a great bbq lunch (or so I'm told as I was one of the people just looking at the shoreline trying not to notice ANY food), and gave us some great insight into the island. A great time was had by all. I would recommend the Erin Go Bragh if you are looking for a more intimate way to see the island sights (versus that of some of the larger/party ships where it caters to a drinking crowd). This trip is a must for everyone!

I had meet Captain Bill and his very special First Mate Ingrid through a mutual friend when visiting Puerto Rico. This year, 2007, I finally had the pleasure to sail on the Erin go Braugh with my group. We were all greeted with warmth, hugs and smiles unto a 50' sailboat which gives everyone plenty of room to sprawl out. I never felt, in any way, uncomfortable about moving around the boat for any reason. I have been with Captains who watch your every move because they are so concerned about their boat that you feel as though you are in an outdoor museum. We had a beautiful sail to a fantastic snorkeling spot and I felt totally secure that I was in the hands of two experts, Bill and Ingrid. I was even further surprised to be served a delicious BBQ lunch which included chicken, rice, salad and there was plenty of beverages on hand, for the asking.
It would be my pleasure to sail with them again and again. Lastly, their prices were more reasonable than others that I sailed with and we had a very long and full day. I had the best time with Captain Bill and Ingrid and look forward to many more, God willing!

Our trip took place on July 20, 2007

Captain Bill and Ingrid made our trip absolutely fabulous. The food was delicious and the whole day was perfect, even with the minor rain storm we received coming back into the marina. I would highly recommend chartering them for a day or more of sailing!! I wished we could have spent more time on the boat..maybe next time!! Thank you both for making our vacation so wonderful!

“Wonderful time on board Erin Go Bragh”

Just got back from our trip on EGB.

The boat only holds 6 people which is why we chose them. It's nice to have some private time and not be overcrowed like most of the catamarans we saw.

The boat itself was ok. It travels at a VERY slow pace so be ready to relax and realize that you will spend most of your time sailing. They have places to sun yourself or a gally if you need shade. It's a bit cramped though.

The food was excellent. From the salsa to the salad to the BBQ. I usually only eat white meat chicken but they only serve dark meat suprisingly I acutally enjoyed it. Ingrid really knows how to cook up a good meal. I really liked Ingrid and I think without her the trip would have been SO SO. She works her butt off to the point you feel bad for her.

Bill took us to an island that was less crowded so we had only one other small boat there. The snorkeling was amazing and the waters were calm. The next island we visted was Palaminoitoes. The water was rougher and there were barely any fish. I was more worried about where my son was then the fish below. The island was very small and hot so we stayed in the water. We also felt rushed by BIll to get in and out of the water.

I think it was fun to do but it's something you do only once.
BRING LOTS OF SUNTAN LOTION AND REAPPLY OFTEN. Where a t-shirt while snorkeling.

We took our 5 year old son on this trip and it was fantastic! Captain Bill and Ingrid took us to some great spots to snorkel and we got to go out onto a little uninhabited island. They gave us some bread to feed the fish and my son loved it when the fish swam right up underneath him to eat. I would definitely do this trip again!
