“Highly recommend this Cafe...”

It truly is not easy to find a healthy place to eat in Fajardo and if you appreciate fresh, organic, homemade food made with love ..I highly recommend this cafe. Gladys is the owner and makes you feel like family not to mention that she has a love of food and serves fresh, tasty food with ingredients straight from her garden. Nothing she serves you has preservatives! We had the pleasure of going there twice during our visit to Fajardo and without a doubt it was the best! The food and service is outstanding not to mention the views are amazing! The hospitality is amazing and Gladys wants nothing more than for her guests to be happy!! Gladys remembered all our names and made us feel like family! The eggs benedict with spinach and homemade hollandaise was fantastic along with the fresh squeezed OJ. Upon our second visit I had the pleasure of ordering the Pesto pasta with Chicken which was outstanding...the pesto is all home made and the chicken was so tender and I can't forget to mention that the servings were more than generous...I had to take half of mine home. The fruit platter that Gladys recommends is outstanding with fresh bananas, papaya, melon, etc along with her homemade ginger, honey and cinnamon drizzle for the fruit...Amazing!! Also, the banana pancakes I highly recommend..not a huge pancake person, but the pancakes were made with fresh bananas and buckwheat and so lightweight...delicious!! They were so good we ordered them as an appetizer on our second visit. Best breakfast and brunch and how could I forget to mention the wonderful Pecan pie that Gladys make...amazing. So good we got some to go and I don't normally eat Pecan Pie. Remember the restaurant is only open to 2...not far from the El Conquistador. A must visit on your travels!!

“miss that place so much!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 15, 2013

It's not that easy to find a good place to eat in Fajardo, if you value fresh, local, organic, and delicious... This place delivers! Welcoming owner of the place treats you like a family member, food served is fresh, tasty, and lots of it comes from owner's backyard. My friend, jaded San Francisco resident, who visited 51 countries, and tasted the best of the best, was finally satisfied with the food served in this restaurant (most other places were vetoed by her). So definitely recommend!!!

Gladys is awesome as she greets you and remembers your names throughout your meal. The food is fresh and delicious and the servers great. 10 minutes or less to El Conquistador. LOVE.
