Unfortunately we did not get to Gladys' (the owner) lovely cafe until our last day in PR. I think we would have eaten there every day if we found it any sooner! Gladys introduced herself the minute we walked up to her colorful roof top cafe overlooking the water. She was genuine and made us feel like we were special guests at a private home. We did not have reservations but arrived early enough in the morning to find an empty table. All of Gladys' staff is as friendly as she is. We started with the delicious fresh fruit with the honey, cinnamon and ginger sauce. Delicious! Both of my sons declared their meals to be the best ever. The French toast was made with thick soft bread and lots of cinnamon and powdered sugar. Both my omelet and my son's omelet were fluffy and delicious! My husband's eggs were prepared exactly as ordered. Be sure to try some of Gladys' homemade mango jelly. All of this food at extremely reasonable prices. One of our least expensive and best meals in Puerto Rico. It is worth tracking this place down. The food and Gladys' hospitality will make it worth it the effort.
